I used to say that you'd be the luckiest person on earth if the one you love decided to love you back. But as the years went by, life has changed my perspective on this matter.
Now I believe that you'd be the luckiest person on this entire planet if you had family and friends like mine.
Because I swear they are the reason I believe in guardian angels and soulmates.
I see them as repairmen, always doing their best to clean my rusty gears and renovate my broken-down engines.
And that's how they fix every cut in order to see me functioning again like a normal human being.
In the end, they're the ones who replace every piece that other people had stolen of me,
restore every part that other people had severly damaged,
and repair every fragment,
every fiber of my being, that other people had smashed and destroyed.
So thank you for building me up when I hit rock bottom.
Thank you for being my source of comfort when loneliness creeps into me.
I am who I am today because of you. And I wouldn't trade you for the world because you already are all mine.
