I sighed, pretty annoyed. Austin said he'd be here half an hour ago and he's still nowhere to be seen. We haven't really had the time to have some time to ourselves these past two weeks because of work, and decided to go have dinner somewhere today. I grabbed my phone from the table and dialed his number for the third time. This time he did pick up.
"Hey baby, I'm so sorry. I'm almost there, the meeting took longer then i thought." Austin said quickly. I chuckled and rolled my eyes.
"Fine I'll let it slide because your reason is solid" i said looking at my nails bored. I don't know why i didn't just watch something while he was being late, in stead i was just staring at the wall like a dumbass. "Where are you right now" i asked. Thank god we don't live that far from our company building.
"I'll be there in about two minutes" he said and i hummed before hanging up and walking towards the door. I made sure to grab my bag and closed the door behind me, locking it. Not to long after, Austin's car pulled up in front of me. He got out of the car walking towards me, pulling me in a hug.
"I'm sorry for being late, i feel like an asshole" he mumbled against my hair, kissing my head after.
"Why? It wasn't intentional" i said pulling back a little so i could look into his eyes. He smiled at me before leaning down, putting his lips against mine for a short kiss.
"You look stunning" i smiled at the compliment and pulled back so i could walk towards the car. He quickly opened the door for me before i could. What a gentleman. I waited for him to get in the car himself before turning my head towards him.
