Tristan POV

"Are you coming?" I saw she still standing in the same position.

"Oh yes, one second."

"You don't have to be shy about you taking advantage of me earlier. I don't mind about that." I continued my steps to the kitchen.

"Tristan! That was accident!" I suppressed the smile.

Without waiting for her, I picked up the spoon and resumed with my food. The image of the incident earlier still playing in my mind. I can't help but keep having a flashback of her blushed face.

"What are you waiting for?" I turned to look at her standing next to the chair. She then occupied the seat and picked up the spoon.

"Let's continue the topic." She said in a slow voice.

"Can you make it clear? Which topic?" I teased her about seeing her reaction. She inhaled a deep breath and briefly shut her eyes in an attempt to calm herself.

Her following action was unpredictable as she suddenly picked the broccoli with the fork and shoved it to my mouth. I couldn't help but simultaneously opened my mouth and accepted that broccoli from her. I cough a few times while trying to chew the broccoli and laughing since it almost made me choke.

Her laughter resounded in the room. She seems to enjoy the moment rather than feel sorry about what she did. I cracked out laughing too afterwards.

"So now we start to feed each other?"

"You're annoying brat." She rolled her eyes.

"Alright muffin, back to the first topic," I smirked, noting she was pretending to hurt me with the fork.

"I agree with the deal. I will move out from my apartment and move to the next door. But I will pay the rental monthly and also the money that you paid to those guys in installment of course if you agree. If not, I will have to call you master."

"Master? Not bad though."

"Don't start it." She narrowed her eyes and pointed me with the fork to warn me. I raised my hands to show her the sign of admitting defeat.

"Can I ask one question?"

"Go on."

"Why do you have two apartments here? Is the next apartment for someone special?"

I paused for a while, didn't expect that question.

"Yeah, for someone special."

"Girl?" I nodded my head.

"I can't stay there if that's the case."

"It's not like what you think." I looked away, hoping that she didn't notice the change in me.

"I didn't notice you're a playboy!" Her statement made me flicked her a questioning look.

"Wait, what topic are we in?" I couldn't understand from where she got that idea about me.

"You said it's not like what I think. So, I assumed many girls?"

I massaged my temple and let out laughter.

"Where did you get that idea?" I flicked her forehead with my fingers. A little scream escaped her lips, and she brushed her forehead.

"You said it's not like what I thought."

"That was a gift for my sister."

"Oh, should we ask for her permission first about this?"

"She won't be able to reply that."

"She is not in town?"

"You can say so. She is somewhere far where I can't reach her anymore." There was a moment of silence between us, not sure if she was shocked by the truth or still processing my words' meaning.

"She..."

"Yes, it's like what you think now."

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't ask you too much."

"Don't mind about it. It's in the past."

"Alright, let's forget about it. Anyway, thank you for helping me."

"Don't think too much. I don't have any intention towards you. I helped because I treat you like a sister."

"What are you talking about? I never thought that far and to let you know I don't have any intention towards you too. So now we are in sister-brother relationship?"

"Childish." He mocked.

Trisha POV

We were now standing outside the apartment, which is only a few steps from his door. He patted my shoulder to get my attention. Then, I saw him entered the pin to unlock the door.

"Don't forget this number or else you won't be able to enter the house." I nodded my head while remembering the number.

"I presume it was her birthday."

"Not hers but mine. This is between my sister and me. We set each other birthday so we will always remember it." I saw that emotion that he tried to hide.

"Sigh, I don't have choice but to remember your birthday then. How unlucky!" I feigned to be unhappy to lift his mood. Then, he snapped and turned to look at me. Before he has the chance to do anything, I instantly hid my forehead with my palm.

"Ops, I'm faster this time." I laughed off, knowing he wanted to flick my forehead with his finger. But, instead, a slight smile lifted at the edge of his lips.

"I will show you around the house." He tenderly held the door for me to enter. That place resembles his apartment; everything looks the same except for the contrary colour.

"Wow, this is definitely a nice place to stay. She had a totally opposite personality than you." I wandered around the living room while mesmerizing the area which was covered in blue colour. The white furniture occupied the living room. It gave the feeling of living in the sky with white clouds.

"It feels like living in the sky and ocean. The blue colour is so calming." My face was covered with a big grin, amazed by everything there. It looks tidy, and it seems like it has been taken care of.

"Can I request for something?"

"What's it?" I shifted to look at his serious face.

"If you can, please don't change anything inside here. I mean don't move the furniture around. I want everything to be in the same place."

"I promise you on that. Nothing will change here." I smiled, reassured him.

"Thank you."

"Oh ya, I will choose the guest room to stay. For the master room, just keep it that way. I will help you to clean it if you don't mind." I added.

"You don't have to. I will clean the house by myself-"

"Leave it to me. You don't have to do it anymore. Well, that's only if you don't mind I enter the room."

"Then I will have to trouble you." He looked reluctant at first but finally agreed for me to do it.

"No problem. You can count on me." I patted his shoulder. Not sure why but I have the feeling that he needed someone to make him feel better. For someone who does not talk much about something personal, I guess he needs someone to comfort him too, even though he doesn't show that.

"I will send someone to help you moving out from your apartment tomorrow."

"No, it's okay. I can manage."

"That's what a brother can do, no?" He spun around and headed to the door.

"Ring me if you need anything. I'm just one call away." That was his last word before he shut the door, leaving me alone there.

"One call away." Repeating his last sentence, a smile graced my face delightfully. He is the walking proof of the cold guy with a warm heart inside.
