17- Birthday Boy

I added the final touches to the painting at 6 AM. The first streaks of light crept through my curtain. I grinned, looking at the painting of the explosion boy in front of me.

I opened the windows so the painting would be dried by the time I got back home from work. I watched the rising sun cast a rosy hue across the morning sky. I took a sip from my 5th mug of coffee. It's cold.

I dumped the dirty mugs in the sink and changed into a sports outfit. I worked out for about 40 minutes before dropping on the couch with beads of sweat on my forehead.

I took a bath, taking my sweet time inside the tub. I wanna sleep in this warm water. Unfortunately, I couldn't stay in the tub forever. I got out of the hot tub, and cold air immediately hit my skin. I silently cursed at my under eyes in the mirror before washing my face.

I texted Mitsuki as I ate breakfast.

Bakumom: I think you were really cool at the sports fest

Me: Thanks

Me: Your son stole my spotlight 🙄

Me: Anyways its his bday today

Bakumom: Yeah! Come over okay? And invite his friends since I know he won't

Me: Mhm

Me: I'll get the cake omw from work

Bakumom: See you then

I immediately went to the bakusquad group chat and kicked Bakugo out.
