Siph departed from Liyue to check on Mondstadt, bringing Venti along. She found him passed out on the street again, easily taking care of it.

She also made sure to buy a few bottles of Osmanthus Wine to bring Kaeya and Rosaria. It would be a little souvenir Siph would bring along for her friends.

"Yes, thank you," she responded to the vendor as she took the wine bottles.

Siph stopped at the Wangshu Inn to get Venti awake as she wasn't planning to carry him all the way to Mondstadt. Moreover, there are hillichurls that needed to be taken care of and it would not be a bad idea to be ready for unexpected situations.

Six hours after Siph booked a room Venti woke up. They were able to carry on with their plan and headed east. Not too many enemies in fact attacked them. It might be due to the archon synergy that revolved around them or other external factors.

"We will be there shortly, I already see the wall outskirts," said Siph as she pointed in the direction.

Venti nodded and decided to string on his lyre.

"Right, how is your vision?" Venti pondered.

"It is holding up. I was trying to be careful with it," she gently patted the vision near the book on her left thigh. "It's hard to control the influx of energy through the vision in a smooth line. Scared it might shatter if I bring everything I have into there."

Venti rised his eyebrow for a second and then laughed it off, slightly moving his upper part of the body forward. "Well, any archon with their maximum strength would be able to destroy nearly everything alive on this. Your case is just a little different."

Siph looked puzzled, "Little different?"

Venti nodded, "Your body is that of a war archon. It has enormous murderous aura and fire itself represents death. Even where you woke up at first it was at the Fire Lagoon."

"I know nothing of Natlan really, do you mind telling me about that land and perhaps about what happened to Murata?"

It was a long way to go and to cut boredom, Siph decided to take the chance of him being alone with her and ask the questions she wasn't able to previously.

Venti's expression seemed slightly sorrowful however it then turned to normal.

"Well, many people have different opinion of her. They think she is the most fearsome of the Seven Archons and many dislike her for her feisty and cold personality."

Siph interrupted him, coldly emphasizing the words, "I want to know what you think not others."

He looked at her, baffled for a second, "I think? Well, even if she seems like the rudest person, she actually cared about her subjects. She in fact probably sacrificed more than anyone in the Archon war. No one just speaks of it."

Siph started to get the idea of her body. She now saw how different she is from the original. It was now time to wonder how she ended up in her body.

"And Natlan?" She asked carefully.

"Natlan once was a greenery, it was a beautiful place. It all changed long ago..." he reminiscenced on the memories, "When the archon war hit, the transformation was inevitable. The very same Fire Lagoon was actually Spring Lagoon in the beginning. Now it is a place that replaces hell."

Venti clenched his fist almost as if he was mad at himself for being helpless. He was there to witness the torture that was done to Natlan. To its citizens. To its Archon. To Murata.
