The path to Sumeru was heavily weighted, with mountains that never ended and dead cliffs that were hard to cross. The flowers on the upper sections were beautiful and the view was breathtaking, emollient.

Chasm was full of wonders, but the Tropical Forest... was just... surreal. The different plants and fauna with all kinds of different blooms: purple roses, mushrooms, lotuses, exotic fruits, and other noble flowerage. All sorts of colors, shapes, and sizes.

The Dusk Birds were singing loudly near the Statue of the Seven, and the little ferrets running all around. Life was boasting in this area, truly alive and sinless. Where the color of the sky is never painted red, and the lives of the people are not endangered by some weird phenomena.

Except the last part.

Withering Zones.

They were corrupt, with the animals and fungi being inserted with some inherited exasperation of destruction. The plants that seemed to not have the very same green note to them and the whole place felt crawling and hunting. Everyone went around it. It was like plaque.

To the Pyro Archon, the place felt new, nothing was familiar, but the irregular, rapid breathing of excitement was still there. As a person that devoted so much of her time into the game, new zones and territories were all satisfactory to explore.

Siph was near the Cinnabar Cliff, with rivers and countless of elevations and fungi soaring around. Monsters were around every corner, and some passerby was always under their attack. Whether it was crocodiles, Hillichurls, fatui, weird looking people, dancing at such zones or fungi, everything grabbed Siph's attention.

She took a step forward, landing into some place with dense number of trees and high stems of some plants. Purple flowers were surely seeming interesting, and she took a few with her. Some flowers were laying on top of the water, like lilies, she decided to grab a few as well. She walked along the river, believing that she would be able to find something that way. It was an old tale after all, and perhaps it might work in this scenario. Where there is a river, there is a civilization.

Soon, to her view opened a place that was like nothing she saw before. People lived on trees inside small houses. It reminded her of countless movies with elves.

She took a step closer but was unaware of how to reach it. It was very high above the ground and crocodiles were crawling in the river — now fried to crisp.

In a moment, there was something that looked like a star, a sigil, that teleported the person on top. Maybe that's how it worked. She tried to do it but failed.

"You aren't local, are you," a voice beside her spoke. With surprise she slightly jumped but tried to hide it. No need to show fear to these people.

She turned around and witnessed something majestic. It looked like a man but with ears. Long ears. Like those of a fox, with a fluffy-floofy-fluph tail.

Now there was a sudden craving of running a hand through that fur...

"I just arrived, and I am not sure how this works," she was being honest. She saw this character before, Tighnari.

"Place some of the elemental aura into the sigil and it will teleport you to it," there came a short explanation, alongside with a sudden demonstration.

"Eh..." she mumbled under her breath and followed the instructions.

Whoosh, and magically she was 30 meters above the ground. With slight headache and some nauseousness but it wasn't as bad, she rubbed her head with a palm to soothe the sudden coming pain.
