[We are in the new arc. This one (part 1) will be regarding Inazuma and Chasm. Once again, I might skip certain parts, add things, and therefore, not rely on this story 100% as a breakdown of lore. I am writing it based on memory and my interpretation.]

I warned you.

Inazuma, the place that settled after the vision hunt decree, where the men hunted women, children, men, everyone, and everything that bore the power gifted by an Archon. Where amidst the chaos, the brave traveler arrived on the site, resolving the issue and bringing back peace to the land, helping the ruler to become once again sane.

What a cliche, isn't it?

Liyue Harbor

"Kazuha!" exclaimed Paimon, floating around the boy with blonde hair, spinning and twirling like a leaf.

He gently smiled, acknowledging his old friends, politely extending a hand to ask a question. "It's been a while. How is your journey?"

Aether nodded, thankful for his hospitality, "Quite well. You were finally settled as no fugitive in Inazuma. Congratulations."

Kazuha had a complex expression; it was gratefulness but at the same time there was something sad hiding behind that smile. It was as if he thought about how many had to bring themselves to the sacrifice in order to bring this peace. If only he could meet those people once more and show them that he is no longer a fugitive, that would be enough for him, "I thank you, without your help, I would have never been able to return the place where I'm from."

Paimon waved her hands in opposition, "If it weren't for you, Traveler would have gotten hurt from Raiden's Shoguns final attack."

The maple leafed man said, "It wasn't just my will to protect you, my friend Tomo also wished for me to get involved."

Aether felt indebted, it was the first time he was this close to death. If it wasn't for him, his head would have rolled down those stairs and his traveling would have ended there. His eyes closed, sensing a sudden amount of energy coming from docks in Liyue Harbor, it didn't feel like the arrival of a calamity but someone powerful was surely there.

He gazed towards the direction he felt the weird feeling and saw the children playing the pirate, crowding a ship.

"What a commotion they are causing," someone chuckled beside him, coming up on his side.

Both of them turned around to see who came up to them so silently. "Ningguang!" Paimon gasped as she nearly tripped over in the air.

"What brings you here?" Aether asked. It was strange to hear such a busy person walk on the pier of Liyue Harbor.

She set her hands to support the weight of her head, clinking her nail guard against each other. "Looking for someone," she gave a short response. Her eyes wondered around to find a standing out hair color against the crowd.

"Looking for me," another sudden voice interrupted. The hair strands fell into Ningguang's sight, satisfied that she found it so quickly.

"Siph, we have business, let's go," Ningguang chuckled, about to lead her back to the rebuilt Jade Chamber.

"I don't want to go anywhere. Can't I just rest for today. I-" she stopped mid-sentence and blurted out. "I wanted to go to Inazuma!"

That was the first excuse that came into her mind as soon as she saw Kazuha standing beside Aether. She didn't realize what she said until it was too late. She couldn't help but cover her mouth, hating on the thoughts that just crossed her mind. If there was a path between jumping in fire or peacefully swimming through water - she chose the former.
