To My Dearest Friend

To you my dearest whom I'm solemnly sworn to bound in platonic companionship.

To you with my lost rib of which you perch on perhaps another man's tree.

Or maybe are free but sees in me nothing but waves of friendship.

And ties me to this eternal blistering of my hearts and wishing only to be free.

In this words, find my apologies as i set free myself these incarceration.

I tried to cage those emotions, but they are stubborn enough to always get to me.

Especially when your smile loosen their locks and shatters my confidence to debris.

Can a man be friends with a lady he sees beyond platonic association?

Maybe in another chapter of time can we do this.

For now, I'll deliver my aching soul to time's infirmary.

Hoping to nurse me, hoping to paint over those fragrance that keeps its echo in my head.

And maybe, when i heal, i shall dance to those friendship drums you play.
