To you my little boy
With pride your bag pack.
Claiming you’re the king of the ocean
Just because I let you sail the calm waves
Oh boy do you know these waters have sharks?
And should you sail, will survive the absorption?
Just hold on till you have experience on the sea’s graves.
My boy shouting my teachings as nagging,
Just listen at least and just in case
Life puts you on stormy waters that you may live.
Boy oh boy my heart aches
Stay by my side and you want to build your own ship
I’ve seen the calm waves swallow up steel ships and you,
You boy think an all iron ship will last?
A mile away and your stupidity will rust.
Oh boy listen so you aren’t left aghast.
