Small Deeds
Its the small deeds that matter the most in love,
And just like everyone else,
I too want someone who remembers small details about me;
Like howl hold my handkerchief out of the window when we go for long drives,
Or stand on the balcony on windy days to hear the music of the wind chime,
Someone who knows thatI would prefer cheetos
Over cakes on any given day,
And drink iced coffee daily without fail.
I want someone who would stay awake just to open the door when I am late,
Someone who makes me lose track of the time;
Iwant someone who would stay up all night telling me names of different stars,
Because counting stars together sounds a little cliche;
Someone who writes me cheesy love letters,
I want someone who knows me better than my journals.
