Are you the One?
You say you are not,
Just like the others,
Who promise the world,
But can't afford rent.
You come with your sweet charms,
Hoping to bring me to you.
Saying am sweeter than the red plums,
Making me blush and my cheecks blue.
Forgive me for not trusting you,
I've heard those words before
I was broken and shuttered into pieces!
Swept into the trash can.
I vowed not to love again.
For I had given my all to someone,
I thought Always and Forever was true.
Nothing lasts forever thou!
You promise to mend my wounds,
Help me heal and love again,
Gain my trust fully and never break.
Leaving my mind and soul with one,
Are You Really The One?
