A Fool's Confession

The riches of this fairy world,
Gave me so much to aspire for.
Forgive me for my heart was naive,
Now I truly know what I desire for.

After eternal ages of dark nights,
I have now begun to see the way.
Rekindle the sparks of affection dear,
And love would gradually forge its way.

I thought no one would be the light,
In my bleeding darkest hour
But you made me feel my worth,
And maybe that light you still really are.

I wonder how differences crept in,
And all the time I chose to be quiet.
I saw you fighting all by yourself
Even in the darkest of the nights.

You saw that hope was drowning
Into the dead sea of beliefs,
Still you chose to be the martyr,
Gulping down all the grief.

I won't say that I'm crying,
But my tears give me away.
I seek repentance for the sin
Of keeping in the words I should say.

I guess I'm too tired now,
To even walk across your street.
But if I choose to stay any longer,
Then hopefully we will meet?
