I think of you before I sleep

Each night before I close my eyes to sleep,

Thoughts of you come rushing in so deep,

My heart beats fast, my mind a flurry,

As memories of you fill me with such hurry.

I think about your smile, so warm and bright,

And how it fills my world with pure delight,

I think about your touch, so soft and kind,

And how it ignites a fire in my mind.

I think about the way you laugh and play,

And how you light up my darkest day,

I think about the love we share so true,

And how it grows stronger with each day anew.

So as I close my eyes and drift off to sleep,

I hold you close in my heart so deep,

And I dream of the day we'll be together,

In a love so strong it will last forever.
