Caden was speeding towards the Silver moon Pack estate in his Range Rover, he could barely contain his excitement that he would soon be meeting his mate, his love, his Luna, his whole new life. As soon as Lily had come down from her orgasmic high, her heat had subsided, as he knew it would. A she-wolf's heat comes in waves, and he was racing to get to get to her before the next wave hit. Caden gave Lily instructions to run a bubble bath for herself and wait for Ava. The bath would help keep her relaxed and her heat at bay, but most importantly mask her scent from other male wolves.
After ending his video call with Lily, he immediately rang his Beta for advice.
"I can't believe you found our Luna! Go to her now Caden, our warriors can manage the pack for a couple of hours. As soon as you reach Silver Moon, just send Ava back to Mystic Falls," Jaxon advised. Jaxon couldn't believe Caden had finally found his true mate, he knew what this would mean for their entire pack, "But Caden, I must warn you, keep her identity a secret. You cannot let anybody know you have found your mate and our Luna. There are many things I've learnt from Redwood regarding the Crypto-Blood Corporation, Redwood have gathered some great intel. I wanted to debrief you, but I can see we don't have time now. Just know, it's imperative you keep Lily a secret, it looks like there is a CBC spy at Silver moon, and if they should discover her identity they will surely kidnap her. Until we can take down the CBC don't let anybody else know Lily is your mate."
After ending his call with Jaxon, Caden immediately rang Ava, but surprisingly Delta Brandon from Redwood pack answered her phone. Apparently, she was participating in some secret tactical games, that the Redwood Delta was being annoyingly tied lipped about it. Caden made it clear that Ava was to be instructed to drop whatever she was doing, and ring him back immediately, this was an emergency. Eventually Ava called him back and he relayed everything to her, together they came up with a solid plan.

Ava made Lily lie down in the back seat of her Jeep, and she covered her with a blanket. If anybody saw her driving, it would look like she was alone. Jaxon had informed Alpha Roberts that Alpha Knight was arriving at Silver Moon today, and required a guest cabin, the most secluded one they had. Jaxon had pretended that Caden had decided to come a few days earlier than expected, as he wanted to personally oversee the upgraded security measures before the ball. Alpha Knight was notoriously private, so it would seem normal that he required a private cabin, situated at the far end of the estate.
Ava strategically parked her Jeep at the rear of the cabin, which was hidden from view by a row of hedges. There was no back entrance to the cabin, but there was a large window that led into the bedroom. Ava had already ensured the window would be unlocked, and she helped Lily out of the car and assisted her in climbing through the bedroom window. Once Lily was safely inside the cabin, Ava walked around to the front entrance, and climbed the two stairs to the porch and unlocked the front door and entered the cabin. If anybody was spying on her, it would look like she had entered the cabin alone, nobody would know Lily was there. Now Lily just had to wait for Caden to arrive.
When Ava had arrived back at her field tent, Brandon had immediately given her a counter shot to force her shift back to human form. She immediately received Caden's urgent message and had been forced to drop everything and rush back to Lily. She didn't have time to even grill Brandon on who the owner of the black bandana was, she was still clueless to the identity of her mate. Racing back to their shared room, Ava found Lily dozing off in the bathtub. Ava had roused Lily, dried her off, gotten her dressed, and then quickly packed her an overnight bag. She could see Lily was exhausted by the whole ordeal, going into heat was exhausting. Ava remembered her first heat, Caden had also helped her get through it. Suddenly Ava felt a stab of guilt, Lily didn't know that Caden was the regular sex partner she had talked about. They would definitely need to tell Lily the truth, but it wasn't her place to say anything, it needed to come from Caden.
"Come on let's get you into bed Lily, you need to sleep, before your second wave hits. Trust me, once Caden gets here, you're going to be burning up a lot of energy," Ava said with a knowing smile, "I still can't believe you're Caden's mate, that means you're my Luna...Luna Lily."
"Luna? I'm going to be a Luna...I hadn't really thought about that. Oh Ava I know, I just can't believe Alpha Knight is my mate...he's so handsome...I can't wait to meet him...," Lily said with a yawn, "actually I am really tired, can you help me put on my PJ's?" Lily collapsed onto the queen-sized cabin bed. Ava unpacked Lily's belongings and found her Pyjamas, and helped Lily get changed and into bed. She set two glasses and a pitcher of water on the nightstand and got Lily to drink some, it was important for Lily to keep hydrated. Lily sipped the water, and then immediately dozed off. Ava smoothed Lily's hair back "My Luna" she whispered, and she bent down and gave Lily a kiss on the forehead. Lily slowly opened one eye "Ava, thank you for everything...I want you to know you're the best friend I've ever had...It's strange, but I feel a bond to you already – I love you Ava," Lily closed her eyes again and began drifting back to sleep.
"You're my luna, so you can feel the pack bond forming. I love you too, Luna Lily," Ava said, as she kissed Lily once again, and wiped a tear from her eye. She couldn't have wished for a better mate for her old dear friend and Alpha, and Lily would make a wonderful Luna for their pack too. She took one last look at Lily as she carefully closed the bedroom door.
She walked out of the cabin to her jeep. Caden had instructed her to immediately drive back to Mystic Falls, once Lily was settled. He was nearly there, and they had Mystic Falls guards stationed nearby, so Lily should be fine alone for a short period. They couldn't leave their pack unguarded for long. Reluctantly Ava drove away, she wanted nothing more than to seek out her own mate again and meet him in human form, but her pack duties came first. She couldn't wait to tell her huge news to Caden & Lily, but now was not the time. She knew the Alpha needed to be focused on his new mate and helping Lily get through her virgin heat, her news would have to wait. She brought the black bandana, which she now had wrapped around her wrist, to her nose and smelled in her mate's delicious scent. Who would have thought that both her and Caden would meet their fated mates on the same day?
I wonder what Jaxon has found out about the CBC? How sweet is Lily and Ava's friendship? So many stories depict women as enemies fighting over the Male lead. It's nice to see women caring for each other. What do you think? Please vote and comment :)
