My date with Xander remains in my thoughts pretty much 24/7. I can only think about him and our date and that kiss. I also think about what it would be like to date him. It would be cool to have a boyfriend, I think. I've never had one before and even Ashton thinks we'd be cute together. I have to admit, I like the idea, but I'm still not sure what we're supposed to do now. We've been texting almost nonstop, and he's so fun to talk to. I know mom told us to take it day by day, but I can't stop thinking about what happens next. Everyone is different; some people start dating after their first date, some after a few, some even longer than that, and some even before they have a first date. I'm completely new to this, but it gives me more comfort knowing that Xander is too. We can figure it out together.

I'm laying in bed going back and forth between my messages between Xander and Melia when a new group chat suddenly pops up.

Melia: hey baes

Xander: uh who is this?

Melia: I'm ur worst nightmare, mwahahaha!

Bailey: don't mind her, this is my friend Melia

Xander: oh uh well hi there

Bailey: how'd you get Xander's number??

Melia: I may or may not have snooped through ur contacts and added his in mine

Bailey: #stalkerstatus

Xander: ^^

Melia: you've known me since first grade Bai honestly don't you know me at all

Bailey: this is true, I don't know why I'm so surprised

Xander: so what's up m'ladies

Melia: nothing much, just talking to a few losers

Bailey: rude

Xander: ^^

Melia: are you just gonna agree with whatever your gf says

Xander: yes ma'am

I pause as I stare at the screen. Melia called me Xander's girlfriend, and he didn't deny it. So are we dating now?

Bailey: wait

Xander: what

Bailey: you didn't deny it when Melia called me ur gf

Melia: oohhhhhhh

Xander: did u want me to ?

Bailey: no

Melia: AWH
