     Right now we are on our way to the hospital...no no no, don't get me wrong, Nagisa is fine and if he wasn't I definitely wouldn't be talking to myself and pretending that there are people listening to me in my brain!.

Damn, I should probably be the one getting checked out....

Oh well.

As I was saying we are on our way to the hospital.

"Your Doctor just called and said there's an open appointment today." Nagisa's father said entering the room
"Oh, when?" Asked my blueberry. "He said we can go right now actually, is that okay?." Umm, uh..." Nagisa turned around eyeing me warily, so I desided to jump in for the rescue. "I can leave know don't worry." I said as I turned around headed to the door. Till I felt a light grip on my arm." No, uh that wasn't what I m-meant I- I was wondering if you uh, wanttocomewithme?" I looked at him shocked, till my lips turned into a genuine smile.

"Of course!"

So yeah, that brings as in to the waiting room, sitting...awkwardly..silent

Sigh..

"I'll go sign you in." Said Nagisa's father breaking the silence." But I'll have to leave after. I just got called in from work. You think you'll be okay on-" "Dad you worry too much it's not like I never come here on my own for most appointments." He gave an apologetic smile. Patted his son's shoulder then left to the front desk before leaving the hospital.

"So-." I started but got interrupted by a quiet voice. Wow thats been happening a lot.

"Um, I'm really thankful, not just for coming with me today, no, but for everything. From the first day you entered that classroom till now." He finished piercing right through my eyes. He really means it

"Hehe, hey hey whats up all of a sudden?" I asked. He lightly shakes his head "mmm, it's just a lot of things have changed since we met again. Good things, I guess and it's all thanks to you, so uh...I just felt then need to tellyou. I'm grateful." He ended scratching his pink tinted cheek.

"You're welcome, and I'll always be here. From here on forward too no matter what." Smirking I replied. "And No more running out of the house and leaving my poor wife after getting frustrated." I said dramatically in a joking matter.  He giggled saying  a yeah sure.

"Nagisa shiota?" A nurse suddenly called. "Well guess I'll go." Nagisa said getting up. He turned around giving me a look I understood right away.

"Don't worry I'll right here waiting." I said reassuringly.

  I just got a text from Rio that the found the other hearing aid. After a while of complaining to me how hard it was finding it, and something about her doing anything for her son though, I let her go back to "concentrate" in class. Hah! Yeah right.

I looked up from my phone screen to be met with big blue eyes, that had me startled with a little 'aah'.

"Pffftt, you should have seen your face!." He said giggling.

"Haha very funny. Anyway Rio and the other found your other hearing aid." His face lit up as his giggles subsided. "Really?"
"Yup, so you wanna go get them? If you really need them we'll go right now."

"Nah its fine, I'm practically deaf from my right ear, but my left one is not as useless...not reliable, but not useless."    
    He finished, not looking fazed. I felt bad but I definitely didn't want him to feel uncomfortable.

"Well then, I'll text Rio to come bring it later, will you be okay?"
"Yeah just don't speak with your back facing me, and I can read lips pretty good if your talking from afar...." He said sounding a little confident but unsure, probably expecting a weird reaction from me. "Okay got it, how'd the appointment go by the way?" I asked with a smile as we walk out of the hospital. Trying to change the topic

"Pretty good. Got assigned a new inhaler, got some medicine refilled, Got a raspberry flavoured lollipop cause my doctor still thinks I'm a little kid, but it's not like I'll turn down sweets." I laughed a little at the lollipop part. So he likes sweets heh?

Cute.

"Hey, uh, it's fine if you don't want to answer, but you have asthma right?" I asked. I had to, I need to know just to make sure. For future purposes. I also really want to know everything about you.

"Uuhm, uh it's fine. Well kinda? I was Uh, born really premature so I have a bunch of nasty lung issues I guess." He said shrugging.

I stopped in my track making him do the same and he then turned around.

"Lets go get ice cream. My treat." I announced grinning.
