I mumbled something unintelligible and looked at the clock.
8:00 AM
"OH come on! 5 more minutes! I took an off today anyway!" I groaned.
"It's your birthday!" I heard Sohee's cheerful voice.
"Exactly." I tried to sleep again.
"Wake up you lazy bish!" She shook me.
"FYI, Human evolution has always supported laziness." I muttered, half asleep.

"Mr.Many Names sent something for you." I heard her say.
I immediately sat upright.
"Don't give me that look" I punched Sohee lightly.
"whatever! There you go."
She handed me a heavy box.

I unboxed it carefully.
It was a bouquet of bronze-ish roses.

"well that's cute." Sohee said, peeping at the note.
"Yeah but why bronze?" I asked.
"Duh Detective, 1st- It'll last reallllly long. 2nd- Don't you know? 19th is bronze?" Sohee said.
Everyone means SuJin, SunHee, Sohee, Suga, and Jimin.
Hobi and I decided to stay sober to take these drunks home.
Kookie silently sipped his banana milk.
Suga had only had one drink, Sohee had started to get tipsy but it's Jimin who surprises me- He's completely drunk already!
When Kookie put down his glass, there was a trace of banana milk mustache on his face.
I started laughing.
He noticed and when he realised what I was laughing at, he licked his upper lip clean and gave me a bunny smile.
Just then the bar's door opened and someone who looked a lot like Sohee's Taehyung entered.
Suga's smile vanished and he exchanged a worried glance with Hobi who was now just as serious as him. Suga put his hand on my mouth and signalled me to hide below the table.
"mhm mhe?" I tried to ask "but why?"
He said "later."
He sounded urgent so I followed his directions.
I saw him approach our table.
oh, I wish I could see what was going on!
Then I heard Sohee "I LOVE YOU KIM TAEHYUNG!"
I saw his footsteps retreat.
"OK, Come on out." Suga whispered.
"What was that about?" I asked.
"Long story, I'll tell you later. But Sohee...?" he trailed off.
"....is madly in love with him." I nodded solemnly.
Right now, she has no idea what she did.
Wait till she sobers up.
"Let's go." Suga and Hobi hauled everyone up while I paid the bill.
"I'll meet you tomorrow to tell you what was this about, ok?" Suga turned to me before getting in the passenger seat of his car.
"All right, see you after work." I said.
"Sure. And oh! Happy birthday once again." He gave me a quick peck on lips before leaving.
I stood there for a second or two then drove off to drop my friends back home.
