Your POV

I look at my bookshelf proudly which now boasts 5 new books, courtesy of Kookie, Sun Hee, Su Jin, Jimin and Hobi.

They all are so nice.

Just as I was about to leave, I heard Sohee waking up.

"Ugh, my head hurts so much!" She complained.

I gave her a glass of water.

"Red ginseng" she muttered, rubbing her eyes.

"Yeah but stay hydrated first." I told her.

"Yeah....oh I totally forgot about you gift!" She stood up and swayed a little,almost knocking over the glass of water.

"Oh leave it for later!" I said, supporting her just in time.

"All right ....I didn't do something stupid last night, did I?" She asked, holding her head.

"..uh...no." I lied.

"You hesitated." She said, without looking up at me.

"Long story, I'll tell you later." I told her.

"All right....By the way, I'll leave for restaurant at 5.... I'll be back by midnight I guess...." She said.

"Midnight?!"

"Dinner shift." She said as-a-matter-of-fact-ly.

"Oh, take care then. I'll be up." I waved at her and walked towards the door.

"Sure! Byee!" She called behind me.

I ran my fingers over Suga's rose bouquet lightly as I walked out.

I walked out of my office after a long day at work and streched a bit.

I waved goodbye to others while waiting for Suga's call.

As if right on cue, my cell rang.

"Hey, I can't exactly come up to pick you from your office...." He said.

"I know, I'm just walking down a block. I'll meet you in front of that furniture shop. ...." I told him.

"Oh all right. I know that shop. See you there." He ended the call.

I walked down the street and there he was, right around the corner, leaning against his Porsche.

"Hey there." He greeted me as he held the door for me.

"Hi." I replied.

We drove in silence.

He stopped at the top of a hill.

What is it with him and the views?

I was enchanted by the city lights challenging the stars in the sky who weren't going to give up and were twinkling faintly.

But the moon outshone them all with its ivory rays.

We got out and stood by the hood of his car.

"Listen...I tried to tell you that day too...but....the thing is. ..." He fumbled.

"You're a criminal." I completed his sentence for him.

He looked at me with astonishment.

"You think you're the only one who can extract information about people?" I chuckled.

"No... I ...uh..." He was at a loss of words.

"I also know that you know I'm in police." I said, looking at the skyline of Seoul.
