"I bet five hundred that he comes back over here and says something to her. He keeps looking, he's gonna do it." Lauryn snickered to Savanna and I rolled my eyes. We were out having brunch and there was a guy who was also here with some of his friends who kept looking over at me. For the past three minutes, the girls have been sitting here making bets on if he'd have balls to come over or not.
"I bet he won't. He looks to scared to even say hi to her. That's why he keeps looking at her then looking away." Savanna took a sip from her mimosa before moving back towards her omelette. "I'm betting five hundred he doesn't."
I looked over at the guy and caught him looking back. He smirked at me before saying something to his friends and getting up, making his way over. "Run me my money! I told you, he had to make sure he had his game right." Lauryn laughed and did her usual dance in her chair. Savanna sighed and went into her bag, pulling out a wad of money before thumbing over five hundred dollar bills.
The closer he got I actually realized how y'all he was. I wasn't really y'all or short for a woman, but he towered over me and I could tell just from sitting down that I had to look up to talk to him. He cleared his throat when he got in speaking range and looked at me with a smile. "I take it you saw me over there watching, so I figured I'd finally come over if your girls didn't mind?"
