10. A rock and a hard place

I felt dumb leaning against my locker waiting for Kieran to step through the front doors. I liked seeing him almost every morning. The one head nod or wink was all I got from him but still I stood there and waited for him every morning.

"Kieran!" All I saw was blonde as the girl from the party rushed down the hallway.

I followed her path right to Kieran as he walked through the hall.

"You know my parents are away for a couple days and I have the house to myself tonight." She twirled her hair and stared up at him.

I couldn't help but roll my eyes. This girl needed to learn her lesson.

"Ok." He didn't even look in her direction.

"Well I was thinking you could come over and we could hang out or something."

"I'm actually super busy but maybe ask someone else." He shrugged and turned to open his locker.

I watched as the girl slumped in defeat.

"I had a really nice time at your party last weekend." She began to speak again.

He didn't say anything he just twisted the lock and slammed open his locker. A box fell out of the locker and made a smacking noise as it hit the ground.

It was like time stopped as everyone stared at the quite large box of condoms laying on the ground in front of Kieran. A box of condoms wasn't immediately embarrassing but ones that had a giant XS in the corner would be enough to bruise any mans ego.

The blonde took one look at that box and was retreating down the hall. I couldn't help but be thankful for that.

I didn't know exactly what Kieran's reaction would be to this but him turning with a dumb smirk on his face was definitely not what I was expecting.

"Nice condoms Kieran." My brother walked by smiling like a damn idiot.

Boys and their damn genitalia. Seriously so immature.

"Cute prank, would be believable if half the school hadn't already seen my dick."

That fact didn't bother me. Kieran had slept with a good amount of people before meeting me but most of the people that had seen him naked have not slept with him. Last year Kieran lost a bet which ended up with him running butt naked across the football field. The video ended up online and basically the whole school saw Kieran in all his nakedness.

"Right they know that these might be a little big on you." My brother joked.

"You know if you're so curious on how big my junk is why don't you just ask your sister." Kieran jabbed.

I felt my whole body tense. I tried to shrink into my locker but it was impossible.

"Don't bring my sister into this, she's not dumb enough to go within six feet of you." Harlan shot back.

Harlan would be crushed if he ever learned the truth. I didn't want to be in the middle of their petty drama but yet here I was between a rock and a hard place. I didn't want to hurt my brother and dating Kieran behind his back was definitely going to end up with him hurt. But I couldn't just break up with Kieran because I was falling for the idiot.

"Then she's about as dumb as Stephanie was." Kieran smirked.

Just like always Kieran was never the one to throw the first punch. He just poked and pushed until my brother fell over the edge. It all happened so fast as my brother swung and landed a punch right in Kierans face.

Once the first punch was thrown all hell broke loose as a full fight broke out. I didn't have the energy to stick around as when I saw a couple teachers rushing over to slit it up and turned and went towards the stairs the led to my first class.

This was going to be a long day.

I had just walked out of class when I felt someone grab my arm and start dragging me down the hallway.

"What the hell?!" I yelled at my best friend.

It wasn't a totally normal thing for Ava to basically kidnap me so I was beginning to worry.

"Emergency best friend meeting right now." She said not letting go of my arm.

"I have class." I wiggled out of her grasp.

"Did you not just hear what I said? It's an emergency!" She screeched.

I raised my eyebrows at her. I could imagine what could possibly be so important that I'd need to skip class right now.

"Give me ten minutes, I'll meet you in the first floor girls bathroom." I told her.

She just nodded and rushed off towards the stairs. My best friend could be a bit dramatic but I'd entertain her craziness at least for now. I might have to try to reel her in a bit if she gets too insane.

I made my way to the first floor bathrooms this time with a hall pass in my hand. The second I stepped into the bathroom Ava yanked me in and then locked the door.

"What is the emergency?" I questioned.

"There's rumors going around." She said seriously.

"About?"

"You and Kieran. They are saying some nasty things about you." She frowned.

I didn't understand how people where speculating about me and him. Was it because of his comment during the fight with my brother? I figured no one would take that seriously.

"What are they saying?"

"Well there had already been some speculation on why Kieran punched Tim at his party and then after the hall this morning people are starting to think it all leads back to you. So now people are saying your one of his whores and that apparently he doesn't like to share in order to make sure he doesn't get any STDs or some shit."

"I'm one of his whores?" I stood there shocked.

What if my brother heard this and actually thought it was true? Both Kieran and I would end up dead.

"According to the rumors. They are only going to get worse, Kieran needs to come up with a solid reason as to why he went all crazy on Tim and he needs to do it fast. They are all basically saying you'd whore yourself out for anyone with a pulse so I suggest you two get your stories straight."

Shit. What the hell was I going to do? I didn't want people trying to slut shame me. It was ridiculous but high school girls were just mean.

The drama between Kieran and Harlan never ends..... will those two ever not be fighting???!
