"I regret coming!" Sienna said as she sulked by the counter, her drink still remained filled to the brim.

"Why?" I asked her as I looked around the loud noisy club for Dantè and my... boyfriend.

It was still so weird for me to refer to Vinchenzo Vitali as my boyfriend. It seemed so unreal, too good to be true. Yet, I couldn't help but admire him.

Despite killing many people and having no remorse he had a good heart. He was always very kind to me and didn't ever make me feel uncomfortable in his presence, especially when we started dating.

Before that, was disaster. He was rude, cruel but I could see that he was changed. He was now a reformed man.

I was lost in my circulating thoughts when sounds of screaming attracted my attention. I spun around and looked at the entrance of the club and saw five armed men firing around.

"Iñigo!" I heard someone yell as the Vitali men whipped out their gun and began firing at the five men.

"Hide!" Vinchenzo yelled as he pulled his gun out of the secret compartment in his shoe.

"Give me a gun!" I called back to him as I looked around.

"Go hide Red!" He yelled back as he began firing at the men who were running in through the front door.

The noise was loud. Screams, grunts, groans and guns going off were heard over the loud thumping music. Dead bodies were decorating the floor and patches of red were all over the walls.

"Give me a gun!" I yelled back at Vinchenzo who was forcing me behind him. He needed to know that I could hold my own, he did not need to protect me.

He ignored me. And carried on firing. The noise continued. Glass crashing to the ground, the glass of the windows were no more. The prominent smell of blood and alcohol made me feel nauseous as I saw more people fall to the ground... dead.

"ARIANNA!" I heard Sienna screech as she held onto her stomach as dark red blood seeped out slowly through the spaces in between her fingers and dripped to the ground.

I immediately left Vinchenzo's side and ran to her. Ducking behind the counter for some protection from the bullets that were flying everywhere I pushed my hand against Sienna's gunshot wounds.

I watched as she took shallow breaths. Her eyes fluttering open and close. Her forehead was shiny with sweat.

"Calm down!" I whispered to her as I grabbed the bottom of her frilly dress and ripped off a piece of the material.

I pushed the material against her wound and tried my best to keep the pressure steady. I didn't want to allow her to feel any pain. She moved her head from side to side showing me that she was in pain.

"Keep on doing what you are doing." Vinchenzo whispered in my ear as he bent down and brushed the golden tendrils off her face that was covered in sweat.

"Where's Dantè?" I asked as I looked around the club.

"Taking care of all the other men. A lot of people got shot today." He said in a low voice.

"Is it over?" I asked.

He nodded, "We managed to take them all out. Tristiaan and Trevor are managing all the removal details."

"Good." I said without feeling a single bit of remorse.

Maybe spending time with Vinchenzo Vitali had turned me into a stone cold, heartless person. As I watched Sienna's eyes flutter in and out of consciousness I felt a pang in my heart.

She had been here for me from day one. I needed her to be able to survive this underworld. She was like my guide, my big sister and so much more. She was my best friend and I don't know when our relationship become one of best friends but I knew for a fact that I could not lose her. She couldn't die. I wouldn't let her.

"Call an ambulance!" I asked Vinchenzo who was standing next to my leaning form.

"Can't." He said as he yelled another order at some man in Italian.

"Why not?" I demanded looking up at him.

"Of the ambulance come here they will call the police. My personal doctor will attend to Sienna's wounds. He knows everything and has vowed omèrta to us." He explained as he pushed a gun into the pocket of his pants.

"Then tell him to hurry up! She's losing a lot of blood!" I yelled.

He sighed before he picked up his phone and said a few lines in Italian.

He looked at me, "He's nearly here. Keep the pressure steady, Red." He ssid as he stepped over Sienna's body that was sprawled out on the wooden floor.

I sniffed and tried my best not to cry. I needed to be strong for her. I thought to myself as I looked at my fingers and palms, they were coated with fresh and dried blood.

A few minutes later the doctor came. He looked around the room and I couldn't help but notice the pain in his eyes. At least he seemed human.

"Doctor!" I called out to him, attracting him and bringing his attention my way.

"Coming!" He said as he hurried over and threw open his kit.

"Must I do something doctor? Do you need help?" I asked as I removed my hands.

"What was the cause?" He asked as he slipped on latex white gloves.

"Bullet. She got shot." I explained to him and watched as he sighed.

"These men. They never learn." He muttered under his breath.

"Go!" He said, "Go wash your hands Miss. I don't need you to absorb her blood into your bloodstream."

"I don't have any cuts." I said.

He shook his head, "You have small ones. Ones you can't see yet they are there. Please wash your hands now."

I trudged to the sink behind the bar and opened the tap using my arm to push it up. I watch as the water flowed down white and then turned red as it hit the bottom. The metallic smell of blood wafted into my nose as I tried my best to not smell it.

"Red!" Vinchenzo called, "Red, where are you?"
