"Tell her. I do not care for a cheater." Vinchenzo said unaffected.

"He doesn't love you. He used you." Francesca said as she looked at me and suddenly all the looks of pity she had thrown my way made sense.

"What?" I stuttered out as I blinked back tears.

"He doesn't love you, Arianna. He just needed your connections to the FBI to get him out of dangers way and he used you."

"I don't believe you." I scoffed in her face as I folded my arms against my chest.

"Ask him for yourself if you don't believe me. Ask him. He is right here." She said gesturing to Vinchenzo who sat in his desk chair reading a document.

"Is this true?" I choked out as fat tears slid down my face.

Vinchenzo was emotionless, "Yes." He answered not bothering to look my way.

"Dad orchestrated it all. The date, the fake relationship was all dads plan. He wanted this to happen and Vinchenzo granted his wishes."

"Your father? What do you mean, Francesca?" I asked her.

"He'll tell you himself what I mean." She said as she took a drag from her cigarette and blew it in my face.

"I don't understand how you could do that to me. I trusted you." I whimpered as I turned to have Vinchenzo who was looking at me. His face was stoic and rigid, void of any emotion. He was a cruel and heartless monster.

"That's your fault." He shrugged simply as he took a sip of the whiskey he had on his desk.

"I hate you." I hissed as I angrily wiped the tears off my face. I watched him stand up, check his wrist watch and slide his charcoal black blazer on.

"I don't care." He shrugged walking off leaving me alone to face everyone else alone.

I couldn't help myself. I felt my heart shatter into a million shards. I buried my face in my hands as my concerned friends tried to hug me and someone was even rubbing soothing circles on my back.

I didn't know how they got here or how they knew to come. All I could focus on was my heart that I no longer had. I had been foolish. I had given him my heart and trusted him when no one else did.

I loved him. I always put him first, put him on a pedestal. All while he was using me. That's all he had been doing. Using me.

"It's going to be alright." I heard Sienna whisper to me as she rubbed soothing circles on my back, a small smile gracing her face.

I opened my mouth to speak but I couldn't form any words.

He used you. He used you. He used you. Repeated in my head over and over and over. It didn't stop nor did it leave me feeling any better.

My heart was on the floor. In a pile of shards. There was nothing left for me to feel other than self loath.

Hey Guys!

Although this is half the amount of words I usually write and I'm sorry it's a little short but I felt as though making it longer would've ruined the whole momentum.

Due to their being a sequel, I will not be writing a epilogue for this book! More information on the sequel will follow ;)

Thank you for sticking to the end and I hope to see you in book 2, the continuation of this journey! Don't forget to click on the star below to vote and always leave your thoughts in my comment section below!!
