Jades childhood

Chapter 9

Sure enough David stuck to his word about jade not taking her classes anymore because the very next day after the big fight he piled her into the car and drove her back to the studio one last time so he could tell them she quits

He was fuming with smoke practically coming out of his ears gripping the steering wheel while was near tears in he back seat because the only thing she was good at and liked as being unfairly taken away. She knew it wouldn't end well to hide the vocal lessons from him but it seemed harmless enough at the time and she was desperate. She never though she'd lose all three classes by hiding one, at most she thought he'd make her quit the singing lessons not all of them at once

"Hi excuse me?" David asked impatiently tapping his hand on the desk of a young lady in the lobby of the studio after dragging jade in by the hand

"Oh hello sir how can I help you today?" She asked cheerfully trying to ignore his anger in his eyes and voice

"I need to take her out off all her classes she's in right now. Her name is jade west: tap 4, ballet 4.. and apparently vocal lessons" he said through gritted teeth at the last part turning to glare at her

Jade didn't say anything just toughened up her face and glared back, she wouldn't give him the satisfaction of seeing her cry over this

"Oh... I see" she said trying to diffuse the awkward tension he has just made "any specific reason why? Like were they too hard, too easy, bad teacher?"

"Nothing like that I just want her out"

"Ok sir, I'll make sure her name is removed right away" she didn't ask anymore questions, usually she would try to convince them to stay but he didn't seem like the type to talk so she just left it

"You're never going here again" he muttered to her while pulling her back towards the car so they could leave this awful place

When they got home Anna could tell that jade was upset so while David went upstairs to take a shower Anna sat jade down at the table

"I'll get you back in those lessons. I promise I'll try as hard as I can" she said giving her a kiss on the forehead before standing up to keep washing dishes before David came back downstairs to find them whispering
