Jades childhood

Chapter 15

After the first day of school when they met Chloe and jade were almost never apart

They sat next to each other in classes, ate lunch together, walked to classes with each other and spent all their free moments together laughing and talking

They were only apart when Chloe hung out with her other friends that hade saw her with on the first day, but hat was ok with jade because she didn't want to beg her to stay and seem clingy

On those days jade would eat lunch alone because she was yet to make another friend, but that was also ok since Chloe was her best friend so she didn't need anyone else to be friends with

Sixth grade came and went and her and Chloe were still as close as ever

It was nice for jade to finally have a friend she could count on

When seventh grade started, on the first day jade was looking for Chloe so she looked towards her group of friends to see if she was with them

She didn't see Chloe, but she did see Jason one of the six boys in her friend group

Over the summer he'd gotten a lot taller and had a lot more muscle and a better defined jaw line

Jade felt butterflies in her stomach for the first time ever

She liked Jason

She'd never liked anyone before

She just stood there staring at the group of them, but mostly Jason

"Hey jade!" Chloe greeted coming up to her

Jade didn't respond

"Jadeee? Helloooo?" She said waving a hand in front of her face

She still didn't respond and just kept staring at him

Eventually Chloe gave up and followed her gaze over to her fiends

"Why are you staring at them? Do you like one of them?!" She asked excitedly

"Shhhhh" jade quickly turned to her to shut her up "I'll tell you at recess now let's get to class"

Once they were at recess and outside sitting around a tree she finally talked to Chloe

"Can you keep a secret?" She asked leaning into her

"Of course I can!"

"I think I like Jason" she admitted smiling and falling back wards so she was looking up to the clear blue sky

"Really?! Why?" Chloe asked, clearly shocked. Looking down at her

"I dunno I think he's really cute and he seems really nice" she said still smiling and gazing at the sky

"He's soooo nice" she gushed about her friend

"Tell me everything about him" jade said giggling and sitting back up so she could listen

Her and Chloe spent the rest of the break talking. Chloe gladly told her everything about him to jade because her plan was working

Oooooo we getting somewhere

I found out the musical I'm doing this year and I'm doing Addams family!!!! This is one of my dream shows so I really hope I get pugsley
