chapter 16

As the weeks went on jade started to fall for Jason more and more than she had already- which she didn't even think was possible

After Chloe told her more about him she started to notice more things about him, like how she had mentioned that his favorite colour was red. Jade noticed how every day he wore a little bit of red or that he had a granola bar for breakfast everyday and jade watched him eat it every single day during first period.

it made her heart flutter that she noticed these things but also because Chloe was right and hadn't lied about him

She just couldnt seem to get those emerald eyes out of her mind, no matter how hard she tried. His eyes were such a bright green that they went perfectly with her blue eyes

She could only imagine how well their eyes would go together if they were a couple

He talked to her a little bit, only a few words but they still made jades heart jump out of her chest

Some mornings he would just nod and smile to say hello to her but other times he would come up to her desk to have a small conversation

Jade wasn't sure why he was all of a sudden talking to her but his smile made her heart pound. She assumed that Chloe must have shared her secret so she decided to ask her

"Did you tell Jason I like him" she asked marching up to Chloe at her locker

"Maybeee" she replied flashing her an innocent smile

"You promised you could keep my secret and that you wouldn't tell anyone" she said lowering her voice even more

"Don't you wanna date him? We've gotta start somewhere"

Jades angry face faltered a bit because she did have a point. She didn't like that she had told him but she did want to date him and just blushing and saying hello every morning was not going to get her anywhere and even hat was only because she has told him

"I guess you're right"

Two weeks later on a Friday in the beginning of November jade was at her locker in the morning before class getting her binder when Jason walked up to her

He never talked to her before class let alone outside of the classroom so jades Heart was beating hard she thought he could hear it

"So uh jade.. I wanted to ask you something" he started nervously rubbing the back of his neck

Jades heart sped up while she continued to stare and blush at him like an idiot. There was one question and one question only that she wanted to come out of his mouth

"I just was wondering if you'd wanna maybe go on a date sometime"

This was it. It was her dreams coming true

"Yeah of course!" She nodded after a second trying to sound too eager

"Ok I'll see you Saturday at the park near here"

"See ya!"

Her first date ever, and with the boy of her dreams
