No one's POV
After entering the unknown Palace, Tenor, Crow and Kasumi all started looking around.
Kasumi: Now that I'm getting a second look here, I've noticed just how mysterious this place is...What could this building even be...?
Tenor: Your guess is as good as ours.
Crow: It depends on what the Palace's Ruler thinks of this place. We'll likely find that out if we keep pushing forward.
Kasumi: Is that so?
Kasumi then looked and noticed Crows outfit.
Kasumi: By the way, um...
Crow: What is it?
Kasumi: Well...I'm not sure how to put it...
Tenor looked and noticed Crow was wearing his black mask outfit.
Tenor: Wearing that one, eh?
Kasumi looked at Tenor confused.
Kasumi: "That one?"
Kasumi then noticed Tenor's outfit was different.
Kasumi: Wait, Senpai, your costume is different too.
Tenor: Well, a lots happened since the last time you seen me in here.
Crow: This old thing? Kasumi aside, there's no reason for me to uphold the pretense of a righteous, sincere Detective Prince. Isn't that right, Mr. God of Death?
Tenor looked at Crow and just rolled his eyes.
Crow: If you're done chatting, let's move out.
The three of them then entered the elevator and went up the building and when they exited, they all started to explore it.
Kasumi: This place feels different then it did last time...
Crow: That was months ago, wasn't it? There could've been a change of heart since then. Do you remember how far you went in last time?
Tenor: Not very far. We came in to get Kasumi and left immediately.
Kasumi: I believe beyond that door was the furthest we went.
Crow: I see, so you're only familiar with the area to the entrance...Let's keep moving.
The three of them then continued on within the Palace and along the way, they kept hearing announcements about making sure everyone is happy.
Kasumi: What kind of place IS this?
Tenor: We'll find out soon enough.
Once the three of them made it to the spot where Tenor, Mona and Joker rescued Kasumi, they were stopped by a man in a lap coat.
Lap coat man: Those guises...You aren't among those who desire salvation.
Tenor: Salvation? Take us to your ruler.
Lap coat man: Leave. You are unwanted intruders. Do not disturb our lord's research, this world's salvation.
Crow: The language of a shadow is a hint into it's ruler's ideology. This one sounds rather cultish , for example. Sorry, but we're going to pass through there now. We don't have time to waste on peons like yourself.
Lap coat man: Why do you willingly strive for self suffering? Why are you reaching out to our own pain?
Kasumi looked at it shocked when it said that and it then transformed into a shadow.
