"i said no."
"peter."
"no."
"peter!"
"eliana, i am your coach, and i said no. you're not training today. go home."
"i'm not going home!" eliana threw her hands up.
"you're not using your arm. after what happened on friday-"
"that was a one-time thing! it didn't happen on saturday!" she said, frustrated.
"and it's not going to happen today, because you're going home." he pointed to the door.
"i cannot sit on my ass for another three weeks."
"one day. just give your elbow a break."
she frowned. "peter-"
"i'm not asking." he said sternly. "i'll see you tomorrow."
she sighed. "fine. see you tomorrow."

"and then he just told me to leave! can you believe that?"
"wait, wait, slow down, what happened on friday?" ben waved his hands. eliana cursed herself. "uh, nothing, it-"
"don't lie to me." he said.
she sighed. "my elbow started hurting as soon as i started bars, and when i came off the mats, i had peter keep the cameras away because i didn't want you to see me cry."
ben turned his head. "ellie."
she cracked her knuckles.
"is your elbow okay?"
"yes."
"you said that really quickly." he raised his eyebrows.
"honestly, ben." she said. "i'm fine. it was a one time thing. it didn't even hurt on saturday."
"really?"
"really." she assured. "but seriously, can you believe it? i didn't even get to the locker room, and he sent me home!"
"i mean, i would've sent you home too." he shrugged.
"you suck, you know that?"
"you love me."
she smiled contentedly. "yeah. i do."
