i'm still on a ridiculous writing kick so here's a bunch of things that i couldn't fit into the story but i ✨imagine✨ about ben and ellie and everyone else because i have a lot of thoughts
-their daughter's full name is julia sky cook because, without sky encouraging ben, they would have never gotten together
-parker's middle name is james for el's dad
-ben likes to teach eliana the choreography from his shows so that when she comes to see them she always knows what's going on
-she's always backstage helping with anything and everything, and the stage managers joke about getting her a salary
-peter is the co-head coach at eliana's gym
-he left chicago after lola and jenna retired
-the cooks go over to peter's for dinner every sunday
-their dog's name is josh because josh was "mad" that julia was named after sky
-ben hates it and calls the dog anything but josh
-ellie is constantly playing with ben's hair
-ben finally introduced lola and jordan after jordan moved back to new york
-they got married two years after ben and ellie
-if el doesn't have a competition, every year on february 2nd, ben takes off from his show and they go to the navy pier in chicago
-sky swore he hated kids but once he met julia he was proven VERY WRONG
-he is so protective of her and it's very🥺
-cally and sky are an on again off again thing for a while and everyone is constantly confused and frustrated by them
-eventually they start actually dating for real
-sky swears that he's not going to propose to her but keeps getting caught looking up engagement rings on his phone
-cally always makes jokes about liking younger men
-lola, cally, and el form an "olympians dating newsies" club
-ben can always tell when el is stressed and can always tell whether she needs to be alone or if she needs him there
-if she needs to be alone, he'll take julia along to the show at night to let her relax
-if she needs him there, he'll take parker and julia over to sky's to give her a break
-ben is very good at knowing what she needs because she's not good at communicating that kind of thing
