ben came into her room as she finished getting ready for the day, and he pulled her into his lap, starting kiss all over her face and neck.
"ben!" she giggled. "stop it!"
"what, i can't kiss my girlfriend?"
"if you leave a mark..." she raised her eyebrows, and ben moved his lips to behind her ear. "just the one." he mumbled. "just for me."
time had seemed to go by quicker than usual as they spent their last couple hours together.
"you're gonna miss your flight, sweetheart." ben laughed as she clung to him. she propped her head on his chest and looked up at him. "i don't want to go." she felt a lump rising in her throat. ben pulled his arms away from her waist and held her face in his hands. "please don't cry, ellie." he smiled sadly. "we'll be together again before you know it."
she nodded and rose up on her tip toes to kiss him.
