     "wow." lola breathed out as they got back into their chicago apartment.

"yeah."

"i can't believe it's over." she said. "i feel-i don't know what to feel."

"i know what i feel." eliana laughed. "i'm taking a break. a really long one."

"el, what?" lola frowned. "but, we-"

"i need to be done for a little bit."

"eliana..." she looked at her best friend, about to protest, then thought better of it. "i get it. you've been doing this for a really long time."

"yeah. and, ben asked me to move in with him."

"wait, like, in new york city?"

eliana nodded.

"guess i gotta find a new roommate." lola laughed.

"jenna just asked peter to be her new coach. she'll be moving here after tour." eliana suggested. "you know how much she loves you."

lola looked down. "i don't want her to replace you."

"you're not. i'm not disappearing off the face of the earth. i just need some time."

she nodded. "okay, i'll call jenna later."

"good." eliana smiled. "i'm gonna go give ben a call, i'll see you later."
