Carmeñ's pov:

I had been in England for a month now but I still haven't played in any of the 3 games we have had. Emma told me that she wants me to study their style of play more so that when I do play, we will play as a team. Lex still FaceTimed me every day but I was starting to miss her more and more.

Today was game day and we were playing Man City. I was buzzing because I would get to see Leila. I needed to hear a Spanish accent to keep me sane. I still had a very strong accent but I was scared I would lose it.
I was sitting on the sofa waiting for Niamh to be ready.
'Oh my days Niamh come on are you done' Jessie shouted from beside me.
'My hair is not working' Niamh shouted back.
'Do you want me to braid it for you like how I had mine the other day?'I asked her.
She rushed into the room with her bad.
'Your a legend Le thank you' she said while putting her shoes on.
'Okay Jess you drive and I'll braid her hair in the back'

We arrived at the training centre to see everyone already on the bus waiting for us.
'Gosh finally took you long enough come on quickly' Pernille said to us ushering us in. Magda and Pernille were like my mums. They looked after me.

I sat at the back next to Millie with Sam and Guro in front of us. On the other side was Jessie, Nimah, Magda and Pernille. Erin had wondered off somewhere so we didn't save her a seat.

'Ummm where is my seat' as Scottish accent said in front of us.
'Tiss took it' Guro said pointing at me. Another nickname.
'No no no you took it' I said in mock horror at the accusation
'It's okay Tiss I can't be mad at you Guro on the other hand' Erin said smiling at me. I laughed as Guro screamed, jumped out of her seat and ran to the other end of the bus.
Erin came back and sat in Guro's seat.
'Ah what a nice seat' she said and we all broke into laughter.

We arrived at the Stadium after lots of chatting and laughing on the bus. Emma came up to me when I was tying my boots to warm up.
'Carmeñ I'm going to play you today' she said to me.
'Really' i said as I stood up. I haven't played a proper game of football for ages and I just wanted to get out their.
'Yep your on the starting line up. Don't let me down' she said
'Don't worry I won't' I sung to her as I danced around the changing room excitedly. I decided to quickly call Lex.

/'hello'/ a sleepy voice said
/'shit I'm sorry Lex I forgot about the time difference'/ I said to her worried that o had just woken her up.
/'don't worry I needed to get up anyway are you okay'/
/'yep I'm really exited Emma is starting me today!'/
/'we'll done my love I will watch your game while I get ready'/
/'really thank you Lex I love you'/
'Carmeñ hurry up we need to go'
/'go and warm up yeah I'll talk to you later I love you'/
/'okay bye lex love you to'/

We were lining up in the tunnel because kick off was in 4 minutes. I felt a tap on my shoulder. I spun around to see Leila standing there, her hair in its usual high ponytail. I jumped into her arms like a koala.
'gracias a dios estas aqui todos estos acentos ingleses me estan volviendo loco' She said into my hair making me laugh. (thank god your here all these english accents are making me go insane)
'Estás bien mi amor' she said still holding me.( are you okay my love) I was aware that everyone was looking but I didn't care.
'solo le quedan 2 meses tal vez incluso menos' I said not moving from my position. (he's only got 2 months left maybe even less)
'Lo sé, pero tienes tanta gente a tu alrededor, incluyéndome a mí, para cuidarte' she said stroking my hair. (I know but you have so many people around you including me to look after you)
'aunque no lo hace más fácil' I said. ( it dosnt make it any easier though)
'lo se mi amor lo se' she said. ( i know my love I know)

We lined up to have our photos taken and then I jogged over to my position. I had Lex's number on the back of my shirt and I was proud to wear it. I knew that Marc was watching and I wanted to make him proud.
