Today me and Lex were going to the Champions league ceremony. I also knew that we were going to be filmed all day for her documentary. I woke up to a silent house. Lex had been enjoying her lie ins considering she didn't need to be up that early for rehab. Her knee has actually been doing a lot better.
I got up throwing on a big t shirt seeing as it was warm out. We were flying over to the city of Istanbul in Turkey. I fed the dog and let them out on the balcony. My phone rang and it was Eli. /'hi Ma'/ i greeted her. /'Car! You and Ale are getting the other plane yes?'/ she asked. /'yeah Ma me and Lex will be there a bit after you are Alba'/ I said /'okay my love I just wanted to check but I'll see you later'/ /'okay Ma love you bye'/ /'love you bye!'/
I was sat on my phone testing J when Lex strolled in. /'morning'/ she said in Spanish making me frown. We always spoke Catalan at home so I don't know what's he switched to Spanish. /'Spanish or Catalan'/ I asked hoping she would say Catalan. Me and a few of the girls spoke it like Jana, Bruna, Pina, Tana but most of the other time it was Spanish. /'sorry Calatan'/ she said in Catalan and kissed the top of my head. /'you exited!'/ I asked her and she yawned. /'tired'/ she said. /'well we can sleep on the plane chop chop!'/
I layed down with my head on Lex's lap and my legs rested on the seats next to me. She was on the phone to someone and I fell asleep to the sound of the plane.
/'Carmeñ get uppp'/ Lex wined gently hitting the top of my head. /'gosh woman I'm up now get off!'/ I said swatting her hand away. I didn't move and she was lost in thought gently scratching my head with her hands. /'hey you okay'/ I said looking up at her. She snap out of her thoughts and nodded at me a soft smile on her face. She hummed in response and continued scratching my head.
5 minutes later we were ushers out of the plane and into a cab. We were going to a hotel to get ready then would be taken to the place thingy. /'exited'/ I asked Lex as her legs were bouncing up and down. She looked at me and I saw the nerves on her face. I took her hand and layed my head on her shoulder. /'you are going to win it'/ I said stroking the back of her hand with my thumb. She put her head on top of mine and I felt her relax. /'and even if you don't me and everyone in the world is still so so proud of you'/
We got to the hotel and i decided to have a quick nap before we had to get ready. I fell onto one of the beds and fell asleep while Lex was rushing around.
When I got up I walked out of the bedroom and saw Lex sitting in a chair with her eyes closed as she had her makeup done. /'you look stupid'/ I said to her. She frowned at me. /'Car we have to leave in like and hour'/ she said and I shrugged and walked into the other room. /'Al!'/ I said and threw myself at the women sitting on the sofa. /'Car my favourite sister!'/ she said hugging me. /'Carmeñ Le Tissiè we have to leave in an hour and you haven't even started on your makeup'/ Eli said rushing into the room. /'Hi Ma'/ I said and went to hug her.
While I was having my makeup done I was singing my heart out to the song that was playing. The woman doing my makeup was getting really annoyed at me but I couldn't help it. Lex and Alba were giggling like school children at me with their phones in their hand. I would probably see that on one of their insta later.
30 minutes later I was walking next to Lex into the car that would take up to the place. I sat down next to her and yawned. It was only 8 and I was already tired. The whole thing would take about 4 hours and I don't know how I would mange to stay awake. I checked my phone and as expected Lex had put the video of me singing her inst story. /'Lex!'/ I said and hit her arm lightly showing her the video. She just laughed and ruffled my hair. /'not the hair I just did it'/ I said hitting her hand away. I decided to re post the video on my story. Yk for the mems.
The whole thing was pretty boring. I didn't really know anyone there so i mostly stayed with Alba the 2 of us running and giggling around like little children. We finally sat down as the woman was about to announce the winner. 'And the winner of the 21/22 UEFA women's player of the year is..... Alexia Putellas!' The woman said and I literally screamed. The whole room burst into applause as Lex took a deep breath before standing up. She leant down and kissed my head then she walked up to the front to get the award. I felt my eyes watering with pride for her. I knew how hard the past few months had been with losing the champions league and tearing her ACL. But even though she couldn't play, she was still the player of the year. I was jumping up and down in my seat for her. If anyone deserves this it was her.
I listened to her speech with tears threatening to spill. She was so selfless and deserved it all. She looked amazing up there as well.
A few hours a lay next to Lex. /'I'm so proud of you'/ I said and she hummed. /'and I know that your dad would be to. He would be so so proud of what his daughter had achieved'/ I said and she sniffed. I cuddled up to her and we fell asleep.

I ran up to the English girl and jumped on her back. Me and Lex had gotten back yesterday and i was strength back to training. 'Lucy Lucy Lucy' I chanted in her ear. 'Ow I'm gonna do deaf!' She complained as I jumped off. 'Well your so old you will be soon' I said wiggling my eyebrows. 'Oi you!' She said and started to tan at me. I screamed and ran away. I looked back to see how close she was and ran straight into Mariona. We both feel down and Lucy toppled over us. 'Mari!' I said to the women I ran into. 'Tiss!' She said and ruffled my hair before getting up and walking off. While I was distracted Lucy had gotten up and threw me over her shoulder. /'PUT ME DOWN'/ I breathed out through fits of laughter. She started walking and I didn't know where so I continued to try and free myself. /'Carmeñ' are you okay?'/ coach asked me frowning at Lucy. He didn't have anything against her he just loved me. /'yep all good here coach'/ I said giving him a smile that he reciprocated before walking to where the rat of the girls stood. Lucy finally put me down. 'Race you' I shouted at her and took off.
