Our stop is a tavern and I painstakingly put my hoverboard in the lobby's rack and my peers do the same with theirs. Leviys sniffs the air around him. "No fairies in this vicinity but maybe they are in the way back."

Eloy remarks that if Leviys is going to sniff at every juncture, this will be a lackluster quest. Ditiyahi paces, her face bright, as if she is excited to be here. The place is not muck but it is not great either. I prefer the soiree aura of Happenstance. Viev says that we should look around. I nod, remembering what Leviys said about socializing.

I walk up to a four top table and smile at the patrons, pretending to be drunk. "Heyyyy!"

They cheers their wine but do not acknowledge me further. Leviys assists me. "Crushing some bad decisions, tonight, boys?" He asked.

"I am making them. Fifty digicoin on Taxim," the pallid one says.

"Taxim?" I mouth to Viev and he mouths back "horse bets." Ah, men are unimpressive here too.

"My friends and I are not from here, so we do not have the download on bad decisions, you feel me," the shifter continues and he gestures toward us.

The dark skinned man with the beard speaks up. "It is the same. Drunk, stoned, or..."

Fuzzy mustache contributes. "Clobbering if that is your thrill. Or getting inside a maiden." He looks me up and down. "No offense."

I am tempted to demote Leviys; how is this helpful?

"Thank you men. We are going to peruse," Viev says. We stroll through the tavern which has more legroom than the lobby. Opposite to what the men claimed, these seems to be the place for people who have woe, not people looking for trouble. Hardly anyone is interacting.

"Do we call it?" Ditiyahi asks.

Leviys cranes his neck. "I am going to check the bathrooms. Alake, you check the kitchen."

Alake worries about being thrown out, but Eloy reminds him the civilians love him.

"Oh yes," he smiles. I watch him swing open the faux doors.

Viev reads over the list. "We do not need to meet a fairie directly. We need to meet someone who knows a fairie."

And that can take over a week.

Once we are through checking a second tavern and a shop, tiredness hits us, so we ride to an inn we believe will have enough rooms to accommodate us. For the duration of our search, we have a budget of 3030 digicoin, and allotting this wisely is a task fit for the leader, but Leviys states he is terrible with money, so Eloy takes that over. Our rooms cost 30 digicoin each, cheap, how exciting.

Ditiyahi washes her face, the ewer sputtering water and I lay on the bed, dreaming of the past. It is unreasonable to be 95 but highly plausible I will live another 200. It is depends on the stones not me. I have my wand levitate and it bobs up and down, creating a soundless lullaby that lulls me to sleep.

As we wait in front of our room for the male peers to wake up, Ditiyahi tells me I can call her Diti.

"Oh lovely," I say. "Everyone will call you that?"

"Just you for now," she shares.

Instead of the bus routes, we use our hoverboards to get to a galaxy shop, which is a misleading name for geodes, but I suppose it suffices once we get inside. The wolf prefers to transform and he keeps up with us well.

Viev goes up to the shopkeeper, so the remaining soldiers pretend to be interested in purchasing. Alake is doing a stellar job.

"She does not know a fairie," he tells Eloy, Diti and me.

"Does she know someone who might know someone?" I ask.

Viev blushes. "That is a good question."

Leviys groans. "We are going to waste hours going on searches together. I suggest, wait, we have three pure sorcerers, or whatever, so each pair will need one so you can contact each other."

It is a proper course of action. Even though I love a girl with girl moment, I choose Viev to be my search partner. Eloy chooses Diti and Leviys picks Alake.

"Great, and we should switch up the rooms, staying with our partners." I am fine with this; by using my wand I will transport my items easily.

"Anyone flat out hates me for this change?" The shifter asks. We shake our heads no and funnel out the shop.
