Chapter 30:

Taylor's POV:

"Can you please make me some tea?" She asks as she sets the paint brush down.

I look up towards her and nod.

I get off the floor where I have been putting together the crib and dash down towards the kitchen.

Hayley was now 37 weeks pregnant.

Which means the baby could come any day now.

I wasn't nervous. I was more excited than anything.

I wanted a family and now that our miracle baby is well on her way, I can't help but love my life right now.

Every doctor visit we have had so far we have been told that both the baby and Hayley are doing great.

That little girl is sure to be the little slice of heaven that both Hayley and I have been searching for.

"Tayloorrr.." her sweet voice cuts through the silence of the house.

"Yeah?" I call back as I'm pouring the water into the mug.

"Can you get me ice cream?"

I smile and shake my head.

"SO you want tea and ice cream?" I call out.

"Yes please."

I chuckle under my breath.

What a silly craving to have. But she has been craving the weirdest things lately. I don't question them. I just provide.

It was the little piece of advice Jeremy and Justin gave me.

And I listened. I provided Hayley with whatever her cravings desired.

It made me happy actually to see her have a smile on her face.

Even when she had pickles with peanut butter.

I grasped the mug and a small pint of ice cream and take it up the stairs with me.

I don't bother to take a spoon up to the nursery.

Knowing Hayley, she'll just end up using her fingers.

She was still painting the mural for the baby when I walked it.

"baby." I said. "You need to take a break. The nursery isn't going anywhere. You don't have to finish it all in one sitting."

She sighed and turned to collect the ice cream and tea from my hands.

Just like suspected, no need for a spoon.

"The nursery might not go anywhere, but the baby is coming out. And soon. She can't come into this world and catch us unprepared T."

I exhale and take a seat next to her.

"You're right." I kiss her forehead.

"Of course I am." She says monotone. Getting me to chuckle under my breath. "Now go and finish up the crib."

I stand on my feet quickly, "yes ma'am." I salute her.

She giggles. "Help me get up please."

I eagerly nod and extend my arm towards her.

"I hate having to pee like twenty times a day..." she continues to nag as she walks out of the nursery.

I shake my head and chuckle.

She comes back into the room and throws a brush my way.

I look up at her confused. "Come on Taylor long legs, I can't reach the top and you won't let me on the latter." She sticks her tongue out at me.

I giggle and get up to help her reach the top.

It was then I felt my calf get wet.

I look down to see her holding up a paint roller with a devilish smile.

I turn my head lightly to see she had painted all up and down my leg.

I give her a fake death glare and climb down quickly.

She yelps and proceeds to walk away.

She hasn't been able to run, so I caught up to her rather quickly.

I painted her nose as she was in a fit of giggles.

I myself couldn't stop laughing.

She took my face in her hands and smothered it with paint using her own face.

It was then I let the brush fall off out of my hand as I kiss her deeply.

**

Two am.

On the dot.

I sigh and turn my body again to see her peacefully sleeping.

It was good to see her sleep, she hasn't really been able for a couple days now. Which makes me really worried.

She doesn't like to say it, but I can tell she's exhausted.

Her tiny body was so strong and I admired her.

I truly did.

A smile crept on my face as images came to my mind.

I imagined us, the three of us, having a day out on the pool, I imagine us out and about on tour, I imagined Halloween, I imagined Christmas, I imagined having her little hand in mine as I walk her into her first day of school.

I knew I was getting ahead of myself, but I have never felt more ready for anything in my life.

She is...

Like the moonlight coming in through an open window

Like rain in a desert sky

Like a sweet voice that cuts through the silence

She came to us when we needed her the most...

When we wanted her the most

Without searching for it,

Without planning on it,

Destiny had it that she'd be ours.

Who would have known how two people can come into my world and flip it on its head.

But Hayley and she did that.

They came into my life sweeping away all my fears,

Love,

The good kind

The kind people spend their whole lives looking for,

The kind that Hayley showers me with every day.

My love.

I hear her slightly groan

Breaking me from her day dream.

In a sleep haze, Hayley reaches for my hand and takes it.

Placing it softly over her baby bump.

"She's being restless." Hayley says.

We've come to find out that my voice soothes the baby and lets Hayley sleep.

I smile.

"Hey baby girl, its daddy."

Instantly, the kicking stops and I could feel her tiny hand press up against mine.

*GUYS! A couple days ago I posted on the parahoy group page the story of my nephew with a picture of him wearing his Paramore shirt. Someone posted it on their tumblr and Hayley replied to it.... UGH!!! Take my heart, I don't need it...**
