Chapter 25 - Staying Together

Next day.......
1:00 pm

Aarohi was talking to some employee. Navya reached her and asked , " Tumne Vihaan ko dekha kya ? ".Aarohi fake cleared her throat to grab her attention and said ," Abhi kal se to dating shuru huyi hai. Aur ab ek din ruka nahi ja raha uske bina. Sahi hai tumhara bhi ".

Navya said , " Jyada na socho abhi tum. Naye project work ki details leni hai, Mr. Roy wali wali jo deal thi. Wo file uske hi under hai."

Aarohi said , " Actually recently Aarav bata rahe the, ki Vihaan na wapis New Delhi gaya hai ". Navya quickly replied , "Delhi kyu ? ".

Aarohi said ," I can sense a restlessness in someone's voice. " Navya gave her irritated expressions and said ," Batana hai to bata do , warna mein ja rahi hu ".Saying this she was about to leave.

Aarohi said, " Acha ruko to , bata rahi hu. Wo na uske college mein kuch kaam tha. Shayad usse ek do din lag jaye waha par abhi ". Navya replied ," Okay , I will collect the details later ".

Navya's P.O.V. -
I would have never lied this way for someone. I mean I could have directly asked from Aarohi where is he , without using such excuse. But she would have teased the hell out of me. We are dating right, I have right to ask about his whereabouts. I don't know why I feels like being habitual to his annoyance or presence whatever it is.

Aarohi said, " Koi nahi aa jaega wo. Don't miss him too much ". Navya murmured under her breath, " Kal to zindagi bhar saath nibhane ki baatein kar raha tha aur aaj gayab ho gaya hai ".

Aarohi raised her eyebrow ," kuch kaha tumne ?". Navya said ," I was saying ki Aarav sir nahi dikh rahe ". Aarohi gave an irritated expression and said ," Bethe honge apne wo boring se cabin mein aur kar rahe honge apne laptop par kuch kam. Sach mein wo bor nahi hote kya ? ".

Navya said, " Wo kaam hai unka ab pure time tumhare paas thodi bethe rahenge wo ". Aarohi said in a dramatic manner ," Mein konsa 24 ghante mere saath bethne ko kehti hu. Jitna time cheesy lines bolne mein lagate hai utne efforts mere liye thoda time nikal le. Par mein kon hoti hu jinke liye wo time nikale ".

Navya's expressions turned blank for a while someone tapped on her shoulder and ,after turning back even her expressions faded as it was Aarav behind her. Navya made some excuses and left from there.

Aarav asked ," Were you so saying something ?". Embarassement overwrapped Aarohi right at this moment. She hesitatingly replied ," Nothing " and disappeared from there the next moment.

Aarav slammed her palm on his forehead and said softly ," Kya hi hai ye ladki ,full dramebaaz hai. Par jaisi bhi bahut pyaari hai."

Two days later....
4:00 pm

Navya was stuck in some thoughts when someone called her. After recognising the owner of voice a shine appeared in her eyes as it was Vihaan.

Vihaan's P.O.V.-
Finally she is in front of me after two days. I can't explain how these two days went without her. I want to hug her right now, but may be it is not the right time. But after seeing me, I felt a strange relief on her face. Not love but maybe she found comfort from me, which she is not able to resist.Even I missed her so much.

Navya said , " Uhm.... So finally your college work is completed ". Vihaan said , " Yeah, and I also have a present for you ".
Navya asked ," What present ". Vihaan asked ," First gift of our dating phase ".
