I'm not sure if this is the actual ship name, but oh well! It describes this ship pretty well!
For starters, everyone knows that James was hopelessly in love with Lily during their time at Hogwarts. As much as Sirius was a ladies man, I don't think that he would take Lily away from one of his best mates. Unless of course this was a different case, and James somehow fell in love with someone else. But even then. . . Nah, that's absurd. James would never love anyone else besides Lily. Let's be real people.
Even if we take away the logical reasons as to why this wouldn't work, I still just don't like the idea of them being a couple. I've never seen them together in that way and I never will. In my opinion this is worse than Rily. At least with Rily I can see them being best friends. With Sily maybe they might be friends, but I feel like Remus and Lily would have a better friendship. I guess in the end James and Lily did both agree to Sirius being Harry's godfather. But I'm taking about friendships and relationships while they were at Hogwarts.
So do I ship it then? No, not at all.
