There was something very calm and serine about a beach at sunrise. Margo had always loved the beach and especially loved the times she went with her brothers, there mornings always ended in a big water fight or surf competition between the three were the loser bought or made breakfast. This time however she was on the beach alone, having sneaked out of Jesse's house early, unable to sleep and very anxious for the day ahead. Even though she was glad her stitches were coming out she wasn't looking forward to talking to Liam. He was a nice enough guy but she just didn't like phycologists and everything they had done to her. She was also very anxious and excited for her surf with Koby and Jesse, excited to get back in the water but nervous she would make a fool out of her self. Breathing deeply she looked at the ocean once more before turning her back on it and slowly walking home. Margo had left Jesse a note so he knew where she was in case he would wake up before her, although she didn't think that likely. He was intact still asleep when she returned home half an hour later, having stopped at the bakery to buy some croissants. Croissants were one of her weaknesses and she decided she deserved them considering the morning she was about to have.

Margo had already had a cup of tea and had made coffee and the croissants by the time Jesse came down stairs. "Wow, someone is up early." he said rubbing the sleep out of his eyes and yawning. "Yeah couldn't sleep so I went on a little morning walk. Bought some croissants thought they would be nice for breakfast." Margo answered stirring her tea absentmindedly. Jesse nodded trying to hide the frown forming on his face, he knew there was something bothering Margo but he also knew she wouldn't tell unless she wanted to. He guessed it was something to do with the stitches or maybe going to see Liam. When they were in the hospital, Liam had talked to him about the problems Margo was having and had suggested talking about it with her but he wasn't sure how to do it without sounding like a psychologist himself. Instead of talking about the hospital visits he decided to talk about their surfing trip with Koby later in the afternoon. Margo eyes started to shine when she was reminded about the trip, very excited to get back into the water again. They chatted animatedly about where they were going surfing and the things Jesse wanted to show Margo. Margo was also very excited to show some surfing tricks she learned from Jai, Will and especially her dad. They talked while slowly eating their breakfast, taking so long that they ended up having to rush to get to the hospital on time. Luckily Margo had already gotten dressed before breakfast if not they would have really been late. They rushed out of the house got in the car and started the boring trip to the hospital. On the way they listened to some music although neither really payed a lot of attention to the songs or the surrounding ocean. They were to engrossed in the thoughts that plagued their minds.

When they got to the hospital Margo first had to go to see Liam and then would get he stitches taken out. They had decided that seeing him first was best, hoping he could lower the anxiety she might feel about her stitches. She waited anxiously before getting called, bobbing her legs and playing with a lose piece of fabric on her jumper. Jesse saw she was nervous but couldn't really do anything to stop her nerves. Margo looked around the waiting area trying to take everything in, finding familiar things in a new place always helped her feel better and more relaxed. She smiled at the one other patient in the room, a boy of around her age who looked just as anxious and miserable as her. He was alone, no one there to support him she guessed. The boy smiled back at her, also bobbing his legs anxiously, moving in his seat and looking around afterwards. Around 3 minutes later, Liam called her in to the room, not allowing Jesse to come in. Margo sighed smiling weakly at Jesse before walking in. Liam greeted her happily, shaking her hand and asking her how she was doing. They made some small talk until Liam got to the point of their conversation, he wanted to know how she was doing anxiety wise and to see if she had done anything out of her confort zone. Margo said she had explaining all the things she had done and talking about Harrison the new trainee that was coming, how she was excited to meet him and was supposed to help him settle in. Liam smiled, obviously pleased with her progress before he got up and opened the door, he spoke something Margo couldn't exactly hear and a minute or two later the boy that was sat opposite her in the waiting room came in to the room. "Margo, this is Cole, he is also a patient of mine and is suffering from similar things as you, adding depression to it. I, together with Jesse and Cole's sister we thought it was a good idea to get you two to meet and maybe become friends. This way you could help each other recover easier, but mostly just to have another friend. So for the two of you to properly get introduced I am leaving you two alone for a few minute while I get us some drinks. Just talk about whatever and when I get back we will do some activities, maybe even getting Jesse to join you and Veronica when she arrives Cole." Liam explained all in one go overwhelming the two teens a little. They both nodded waiting for Liam to leave before turning to look at each other. "Hi." they both said at the same time, before laughing breaking the ice immediately. "I'm Cole, as Liam already said..." he, Cole, said shaking his head at his own words "Sorry I am incredibly socially awkward. And I tend to ramble when I get nervous or meet new people, like I am doing now." They both laughed again breaking the ice even more "It's okay, don't worry I am the same, trust me. Why don't we start by talking about some things we like? I love writing and surfing, and I have a blog and youtube channel on which I try to upload weekly." Margo said smiling and sitting back in her chair feeling slightly more comfortable. "No way, that is so cool! I love taking pictures, especially of people and animals. Sometimes I go out driving and just photograph wherever I end up. I have a instagram account dedicated solely to my photographs. I also love to read and would love to get a dog when I live alone later." Like that they launched into a deep conversation talking about their hobbies and favourite breeds of dogs. They left the matter of family for the last but eventually Margo found out that Cole, lived with his sister Veronica not having any contact with his parents. His mom had left when he was a baby and his dad had serious drug problems and was involved in a lot of crime and violence. As his sister was 25 she got custody over him and he was very glad as he did not want to go into foster care. He had been battling with depression and social anxiety since a couple of months to the point that he could barely make it through a school week without a panic attack. Margo completely understood what he was going through and was quick to show him some exercises that helped her calm down. They continued talking about school and university, Cole being in the last year before starting uni so starting at the same time as Margo would. He wanted to study english philology with german as a second language and a extra minor in photography. Margo had decided she wanted to add creative writing to her program as a minor studies still majoring in criminology, if she gets accepted of course. They where so caught up in their conversation that they didn't hear the door open and Liam, Jesse and Veronica walk in until Liam cleared his throat. Both looked up startled and then laughed at seeing Jesse and Veronica's faces, both surprised at the progress their respective family had made.
