Alone soldier sits on a deserted hill, looking down at the battleground before him.
"Why do you weep so?" Alone fisherman asks.
The soldier, weary, tired and defeated by war itself, replies.
"What's the use, time comes and changes. But it's always the same. War, WAr, WAR! Until the ground is soaked in blood, it seeps into the Earth and the Earth welcomes it like an old but constant friend.
Nothing changes. What is the use of living, when this is always constant?"
The fisherman sits down next to the weary soldier and says softly as if talking to a child "umm, yes. Sadly no matter how much we try, War will always be there. The only comfort I can give you is: not of riches or of land when coming back victorious.
It is the pacts of friendship and of love that we form with are brothers in war, that keeps us going. Knowing that the people that we are fighting for, are safe and secure. That is all I can give you"

(A human fisherman, talking to an Elven soldier. That has just lost his brethren in a war against a nearby human kingdom. One year before the pact with the human race....Two years afterwards, the betrayal of there lady and the fleeing of the once proud Elven race)

2 days later

Lord Finnonn looked at the human representatives with a mixture of annoyance, anger and frustration.
Now he knew, he had never been to Earth since the race of man's betrayal of there lady. But surely something as big as Earth, they would have surely have more than three people representing it.
He thought to himself as he sat looking at the humans Mr Whittle included "If this is what they are like now, I dread to think what they are when the battle finally comes for them" he looked at Gregory's uncomfortable form, for a minute and then turned to face Mr Whittle and asked in a serious tone of voice "are you sure, your race is up for what is in store for your people?" Mr Whittle was about to answer him, when Mr Whittle's boss cleared his throat and said in a business tone "you say, that the human race is in trouble. And what I have heard from the source, is that you wish for us to believe. Pardon for me saying, that childhood st..." Gregory shot up from his chair, his hands lighting up with his powers, but when Lord Finnonn gave Gregory a warning look he quickly sat down on his hands, to control his powers.

Once Lord Finnonn made sure it was safe for the humans, he said in a kind understandable voice "I know that you probably think me mad, of telling you these tails. But the truth is as you see it. I won't keep you long, because if I told you all, we wouldn't stop until 4 days time and we don't have the time for that. Instead I will show you, what the future will be for your Earth and the inhabitants if you don't take this seriously" He picked up a purple cloth with a pyramid shaped object underneath it and put it in the centre of the table. He took off the purple cloth, once he did that, it showed of the race of mankind's future.

30 minutes later

Once the pyramid had stopped, the humans looked at him with horror on there faces. The boss, swallowed hard and said "my people will help you in this war" Lord Finnonn asked with his right eyebrow raised "and the rest of mankind?" The three humans looked at each other. This time Mr Whittle answered sadly "I'm sorry Lord Finnonn, but we cannot speak for all humans.....they...they would never understand. We cannot tell anyone el...." Lord Finnonn put up his right hand and said in a warning voice "I hope you know, that if the all of mankind knew. We would...no you would have a better chance of survival, in this coming battle. I hope you know what you have done, may have made the human race extinct quickly, because of this" he then rained in his emotions and said in a serious tone "do not fret, the pact will be renewed this day. You shall have are help. But I don't think that will be enough, for the war that is to come very soon" and with that he left.
