I threw the last of my things into my bag and walked down the stairs. Kenma was going to be at my house in t-10 minutes to pick me up so we could leave. It was the 13th and we had about a 4.5 hour train ride ahead of us, and the plan was to stop halfway while in Nagoya and maybe do a little bit of shopping.
I brushed out my (h/l) hair and ran to the kitchen to grab a quick snack for before we leave. I heard the clanging of keys just as I finished eating the last of my mochi stash.
"ready to go?" I heard from the living room as I walked down the hall towards Kenma. He shut the door behind him and was going to pick up my bag.
"Oi! I can carry my stuff" I huffed to him. I really did hate having him carry my things since he was the one who played the sport and not me.
"no, it's fine, I can carry it"
"Kenma Kozume" I tapped me foot and crossed my arms.
"fine" he sighed before handing me my bag.
"thank you" I triumphantly said before taking the bag from him.
And with that we were out of the house and on our way to the train station.
Once we arrived the train station was fairly packed, mostly with people waiting to catch the train so they can go to see their long distance partner for white day.
"which train do we have to get on?" I asked as Kenma stood looking at the train schedule
"we have about thirty minutes. Do you want to go grab a snack from the vending machine?"
"Oh, yeah, sure that doesn't sound bad."
We both walked over to the vending machine and Kenma adjusted the strap to his gray gym bag and fished his wallet out.

I smiled and nodded to him, and he quickly put the money in and grabbed us snacks. Handing me my food and opening the small bag of chips he'd bought and once again we both walked back to where we were standing.

We sat there people watching as all the people went by, getting on and off different trains. Kenma still wasn't a particular fan of large crowds, but he tolerated them. Then both of our phones pinged, and a notification from Kuroo popped up on both of our screens.
