the sky was all different shades of colors and the sunset gave off a golden hue on your skin which didn't go unnoticed by kenma

"hey, kenma-kun, here are the notes you asked for" you said as you looked up at the cat boy and handed him your note pad, you two looked into each others eyes, you being pulled into his golden orbs and him being transfixed by your (e/c) ones. you both just stayed like that for a few seconds, a slight red dusting across both of your cheeks before kenma realized what was going on and and mumbling a small thank you and tucking his head back into his psp so that his hair would cover his blush until it at least dies down. he was feeling slightly sad that he had to break your guys' gaze apart though, and you felt the same way too.

you were walking with kuroo and kenma to the train station when kuroo had asked you about why you called nekomata ojisan and you explained the whole thing to him, finishing right as you got to the boarding platform

the speaker chimed "route 14 now boarding" and with that you kuroo and kenma walked into a fairly empty train cart and sat together as a group. kenma was still playing on his psp and you took and interest in what he was playing, so you leaned closer to him without realizing it and peering over his shoulder to see the game. you recognized it as one of the games your family's company created, it was also one of your favorites, you smiled seeing the familiar character fighting a mini boss on the screen. kenma slightly tilted the screen so you could watch him you both immediately forgot your surroundings and were sucked into the game, only aware of the psp and eachother.

kuroo hummed in satisfaction to himself, finally seeing the two of you become comfortable, him, yaku, and asami has secretly been planning something for the past month and now things were going according to the plan, well... aside from kenma and kuroo finding out about your secret gaming fame, now that was a real big surprise to kuroo. yaku knew before kuroo because asami told him.

kenma was visibly getting frustrated becuase he couldn't solve a certain puzzle, and you giggled at it slightly, asking for permission to show him the solution, kenma quickly agreed becuase he wanted to move on. with ease and speed you quickly solved the puzzle since it had a simple solution and kenma was just overthinking it. kenma looked at you like you walked on water after that and you only just smiled and handed his psp back to him, happily watching him advance in the game.

kenma thought you himself 'oh if only you knew kireina-chan' and with that thought the speaker chimed again stating it was your stop and you got up bidding the two boys goodnight and kuroo told you to text him when you got home safely, you just smiled slightly and nodded. after you got off of the train kenma's mood slightly changed to a bit more depressed

"i'm home" you shouted, but once again no one was there, you only said that to fill the void in your heart for the past years that your grandma passed, occasionally you'd hear your cousins from your mom's side, atsumu and osamu, come out from the kitchen and stop raiding your fridge to which you'd roll your eyes. but today they weren't there, and to be fair it was about a 4 1/2 hour shinkansen ride from hyōgō to tokyo so they'd come for one weekend every month just to see their dear cousin... or to raid your fridge, you couldn't quite tell. sometimes they'd bring along their friends kita and suna, which you were fine with, your house had the room to accommodate everyone, even if it was small. you took a look at your calendar and chuckled, you guessed you have a pretty good reminder system in your head, because you had this weekend marked down for the twins to visit. 'looks like i'll need to go to the grocery store tomorrow to pick up rice and tuna, those two go through that stuff so fast you'd think you were feeding a whole platoon of soldiers' you said to yourself, but no matter how much you might complain about the twins' appetite though, you're still thankful for their visits.

you then remembered to text kuroo that you got home, so you took out your phone to text him only to see that you'd been added to a group chat:

rooster-head added you to grumpy cats!

'grumpy cats' you laughed to yourself before quickly telling kuroo you're home and then investigating the group chat.

russianlankyboi: kuroo-senpai, is this tensai-senpai?
you: uuuummmmm, yeah it's me, you don't have to address me as senpai lev
russianlankyboi: whoa! tensai-chan! how did you know it was me?!
you: nekomata gave me a list of your guys' contact info so i put that in my phone
annoying dude: oh my gosssshhhhhh 😍😍😍 kireina-chan!!! i have your phone number now 🤩🤩🤩🤩
rooster-head: watch it yamamoto, or else you'll be doing 100 serves bright and early tomorrow
you: ummmmmm since when were we on first name basis yamamoto-san?
annoying dude: since i've decided you're my wife 😍
kitty gamer: don't you need her permission for that?
you: im going to have to pass yamamoto
mommy-libero: oh thank god! yamamoto remind be to kick you tomorrow at practice
annoying dude: i'll withstand anything for tensai-sama
you: where the hell did sama come from??!!??
russianlankyboi: bahahahahaha
annoying dude: you got home safe, right tensai-sama
rooster-head: yes she did yamamoto, now stop being a creep
mommy-libero: the amount of minutes i'm gonna beat yamamoto tomorrow: +1
you: oh my god, screw it, yamamoto just call me kireina, i don't even care anymore
annoying dude: really! you mean it?!
you: whatever, just don't call me sama
russianlankyboi: what about me tensai-chan?
you: sure whatever i don't care
lankyrussianboi: yayyyy!!!! kireina-chan!!!
you: oh nekomata told me to tell you all there's morning practice and that's why he let you all go early, and with that i'll take my leave, you guys can be stressful
annoying dude: nooooo don't gooooooo
russianlankyboi: kireina-channnnnnnn
kai the chill guy: what did i just enter?
inuinu: i was thinking the exact same thing...😅

kenma's pov:
"tch, stupid yamamoto, always being so overbearing" kenma thought to himself
"ppppffffttttt, kenma are you jealous?"
the sudden realization then hit kenma like a bus...he thought out loud
"no kuro, i'm not jealous"
"sure does sound like it to me"
"mmmm whatever"
"y'know it's okay to be jealous, you like her, it's perfectly natural, the chemistry of our brains even says so. and don't worry too much about yamamoto, he's just seriously lacking in docosahexaenoic acid, i guess he just needs to eat more fish" kuroo chuckled
"you're doing it again kuro" kenma stated before they both reached their houses and went inside.

kenma went straight to his room when he got home shutting the door behind him and taking your notebook out of his backpack. he quickly jotted down the notes he turned to the last page to see a sticky note at the bottom, in the same neat handwriting you had
