" Kireina, since I will be at the mansion in Tokyo during Christmas this year, you will be joining me. I'll send a chauffeur to come get you from after school on your last day before break. You'll be home by the 28th because I have business affairs that day

"couldn't even send a personal letter, huh? So much for a warm father" you rolled your eyes.

"that means we can't see each other on Christmas or Christmas-eve huh?" Kenma sighed.

"Unfortunately no, but I'll be home by new years" You smiled trying to hide the fact you were upset about not being able to see Kenma on Christmas-eve at the very least."

"Yeah, I guess you have a point there" he laughed, snaking his hands around your waist and pulling you in for a tight hug.

"maybe I'll just face time you on Christmas or something and you can attach your phone to your rumba and it'll be like I'm there... just a bit shorter than usual." You laughed, holding onto kenma's hands as he nuzzled his chin into your shoulder. He laughed a little and it vibrated throughout you, sending a warmth all throughout your body.

"nah, I think you'll still be the same height"

"rude" you narrowed your eyes a bit before you flopped the both of you onto the couch and ended up cuddling. Kenma texted his mom he was staying the night at a friends' house and you both fell asleep in each others' arms.

"where the hell are you?" you angrily murmured standing outside of Nekoma, a small duffle bag at your hips, all packed to spend the most boring two weeks of your life ever.

"hey, don't be too mad over it, the later they show, the more time we have to spend together" kenma softly reminded you.

"fair point, if my dad wasn't paying my bills I'd probably just ditch this and let them try and find me so that way I could spend christmas with you and everyone else"

"yeah, but did you say the mansion is in Tokyo, so you'll still be in the city"

"yeah, but it's in the Minato district, I hate it over there."

"is it that bad for you?"

"well, it's not a horrible place to live in general, but everyone over there is a snob"

"that's too bad, maybe they could take some pointers from you on how to be nicer"

"doesn't help that the mansion is in Roppongi hills... at least there's enough rooms in that house that I can make one my streaming and gaming room."

"is that whats in your bag?" Kenma laughed a little

"just because I'm going to be surrounded by a bunch of snobs doesn't mean the grind stops babe"

"I guess so" you laughed a little. your phone pinged and you looked down

"He even text me as if I'm just a business partner and not his daughter" you rolled your eyes, "if you're like this with our kids, I'll murder you"

"well you're already planning on marriage, so kids are inevitable"
