The Curfew

Fifteen

(This chapter was inspired by the movie Heathers, this chapter is also a bit short.)

Alex and I went to Amy's house. I felt so uneasy as I knocked on the door. A few minutes later, Amy answered the door.

"Bree, what an excellent surprise." she said.

"Hey Amy." 

"I didn't expect you to come over, but come in."

We entered her house and she looked at Alex. Alex sat down and I went to the kitchen to grab some coffee for Amy. I decided to put some Drain-O in with her coffee. I gave her the cup and she took a big gulp. She started choking while her tongue was blue. She collapsed. Alex smirked.

"Babe, did you just..."

"Yeah... Maybe we should write her a suicide note but how?"

"I'm good at copying other people's handwriting." He wrote a suicide note and set it beside her body. We left and after that, I felt guilty. I just killed someone... We walked back to the college campus and entered my dorm. I sat on the bed.

"I can't believe it..."

"I can't either." I looked at him.

"You're a psycho." I scoffed.

"No, I'm not. I'm not like Jason Dean or any other serial killer out there."

"Whatever, I just can't stop feeling guilty." I said.

"I can't either, honestly."

"You didn't kill her, I did."

Calena came in with her bags and set them down.

"What's wrong with you?"

"Mark's in the ICU."

"Why?"

"He almost drank himself to death."

"Damn, I hope he's doing better."

"He is."

"Kyle and I have a date tonight." she put a jacket on.

"Have fun and be careful." She exited the room.

I looked at Alex. "Good thing we didn't tell her what we did."

"Yeah." he agreed.

I got a text from Mark:

I'm out of the ICU. Come and visit tomorrow.

I responded: 

Nice, I'm bringing Alex with.

I laid in bed and wondered how tomorrow is going to go. Alex will meet Mark for the second time and I'm pretty sure he's going to see if Alex is right for me.

"Alex?"

"Yes, Love?" he responded.

"Good night."

"Goodnight babe." he kissed me.
