"Morning" I smile at Alana who walks into the kitchen. "What's up" I was making myself a grilled cheese.
She looked exhausted like she used to whenever Kara kept her up all night talking about a guy who we now know as Leonardo.
Apparently, they have severe problems but at the time, Alana didn't know Kara was dating somebody. I must say, Kara, is the best liar in our family.
"This little girl is killing me" she takes a seat at the island. "And I have homework, I'm gonna off myself"
I furrow my eyebrows. "No don't" She looks up and smiles at me when I say that. "I want to meet the little girl who has been torturing you, I'm sure I'll love her"
Her smile drops and she gets up opening the fridge, muttering. "Bitch"
I finish making the grilled cheese when she pulls out cereal, a bagel, cream cheese, milk, and oatmeal. She goes to the toaster and pops the bagel in, then she turns on the hot water used for making coffee and tea, and finally, she makes her cereal.
She brings her cereal to the table and starts eating while her other food cooks. "What?" She asks at the look I'm giving her. "The baby needs to eat too, I can't have my girl starving"
I roll my eyes and get ketchup.
Grilled cheese is good with ketchup, fight me
While I eat, she finishes her cereal and moves on to making oatmeal and a bagel.
I get a text from Matteo and tell myself to look at it when I finish eating.
I leave Alana in the kitchen when I'm done and go to my room.
Dad starts texting me so I open his messages.
