Following their first date, which went well. They proceeded on to their second, third, fourth, and fifth dates, and so on. However, Oliver has yet to ask Arayna to be his girlfriend. But now since it's a week before the start of December, every student is seated in the Great Hall.

"Good evening students," Professor Dumbledore said, clearing his throat as the crowd fell silent. "I am pleased to announce that a Yule Ball will be held a week before Christmas day."

Cheers, yells, and thunderous clapping reverberated throughout the hall. However, once Dumbledore signaled for silence, there was silence.

"The ball is limited to third years and above; first years and second years will have early departures from their last courses; the ball will officially begin at 6 p.m.; you may stay as late as you like, but no later than 12 a.m." Dumbledore proclaimed.

"Dates are required; they may be girls and girls, boys and boys, or mixed houses; from now on, students may accompany their parents on Hogsmeade trips to purchase for their gowns and suits," Dumbledore said, his eyes gleaming.

"Of course, no ball is complete without dances," he said, grinning as the hall erupted in groans, especially from the boys. "Dance classes will begin tomorrow by your head houses," he added, chuckling.

"Each year will have a randomly selected coupled couple will begin the dance with an entrance and will be the first dance," Dumbledore said with a knowing smile, his eyes lingering on Arayna and Oliver for a little while. Yeah, right. Severus' losing

Arayna, Marline, and Karina are on their way to the Great Hall the following day, most likely discussing the Yule ball.

With a raised brow, Marline inquired, "Ara, why do you keep rejecting those poor men, they look so heartbroken?"

"Well, I'm still waiting for a certain someone to ask me, but don't you want me to go to the Yule ball with him?" Arayna inquired.

"Oh, nevermind," Marline sighed as she realized who she wanted to go to the ball with. "Where's Vesta? Wasn't she with you earlier in class? She can't leave you or Oliver alone."

It was correct. Vesta isn't confident if she'll leave Arayna or Oliver, but it's more than likely Arayna. When they arrived at Hogwarts, the students were enthralled with her, and some even attempted to abduct or kidnap her from Arayna, but she always found her way back to her. Professors couldn't even stop the puppy from attending Arayna's classes.

Arayna frowned as she noticed her puppy was missing, and as she became concerned, Karina said, "She probably went to Oliver?"

As they entered the Great Hall and sat down at the Ravenclaw table to have their lunch, Arayna mused aloud, "Maybe..."

When they were eating, after a while. They heard a small cute bark and turned to see who it was coming from: Vesta, who was sprinting towards them.

"Where have you been, bubs?" Arayna inquired, taking the small dog to her lap, then noticing a nicely wrapped paper on Vesta's mouth.

Arayna asked the puppy, "What is this?" and "Where did you acquire it?" Vesta barked, as if saying  "Open it!"

Curiosity got the best of her, so she opened it, and the note brought a bright smile to her face.

She eagerly took out her own note and began writing. After passing it on to Vesta, who will return it to Oliver.

Vesta dashed back to the Gryffindor table, where Oliver was waiting anxiously for her response. Vesta barked to catch Oliver's attention, which she succeeded in doing, and then she was taken from the ground and placed on Oliver's lap.

Oliver grabbed the paper from Vesta's mouth and began reading it, his apprehensive look giving way to a huge smile.

Oliver shifted his focus to the Ravenclaw table, where he caught Arayna's attention and gave her a lovely grin and a mischievous wink. Before both of them returned to their chats with their companions, Arayna reacted with a little chuckle and winked back at him.
