Code Silver (Hessa) - part 2

It's been a month since I'm home. I had a one relaxing month and I'm finally able to go back to my normal activities, except working on the field, but honestly, I got used with this idea. Today is my first day at work, and after that I'm going to find Tessa and ask her out for a coffee.

"Scott, welcome back, bro!" I'm greeted by Alex, my workmate.

"Thanks."

"You good?"

"Yep, as good as someone who will work in an office." I roll my eyes as we walk to the office.

"You will help us from your desk, I assure you."

"I hope."

After a few hours, I finished my work, so I leave to the hospital to meet Tessa. In the last weeks, I searched a lot of things about her and I know her schedule. I'm a creep, right? But you do everything when you like someone. I arrive in the front of the hospital and I wait. It's almost 6pm and she will finish her shift soon. After a few minutes, I see the blonde which is in my mind for a few weeks.

"Tessa, hi." I say and I smile at her when she's next to me.

"Mr. Scott, what are you doing here?"

"You can call me Hardin, I'm not your patient anymore."

"That's right."

"Remember what you said when I left?"

"Yes, I remember." She shyly smiles.

"When you are free to come with me for a coffee?"

"Hmm... I'm free for the next two days, so maybe tomorrow?"

"Deal. Give me your phone and I will give you mine, so I can send you the detail, ok?"

"Ok." She smiles and we exchange our phone. I quickly add my number in her phone, while she adds her on mine.

"I hope you are single. I don't want to have a jealous boyfriend after me."

"I promise that I'm single." I breath in a relief and she giggles.

"Then see you tomorrow, miss Young." I give her phone back as she does with mine.

"See you." I smile and I watch her leaving. She's very pretty and I think the things between us will work.

The next day...

I never been so excited for a day for years. I don't know what wrong with me, but I can't wait to see her. She has something special and I can't wait to learn more about nurse Tessa Young. For the first time in my life, I'm nervous about a fucking date. Not actually a date. I decided to wear a black shirt for her. I want her to see my good part.

I'm already at the coffee shop for 15 minutes, I'm earlier, I never go early somewhere, but now... now it's something else. I ordered for me a cappuccino and I wait for her. I look at the door and I see her entering in the coffee shop. I get up and I lift my hand so she can see me, like I'm not tall enough. I laugh in my mind.

"Hi."

"Hi." I help her to sit down.

"What do you drink?"

"Carmel Latte, please."

"I will be back in a moment." I leave our table and I go to order her drink. Besides her drink, I opt for two slices of Carmel Cheesecake. If she loves the Carmel Latte, I'm sure she will love this cake. I take my order and I go back to our table. "I brought a dessert for us."
