Today it's Jo's 25th birthday and I'm having a surprise for my girl. Even if we're together for almost a year, I know she's the one and that's why I'm going to propose her. I have a beautiful white gold ring with a small diamond, perfect for her. I'm a little bit nervous because I don't know what to expect from her, even if her family told me she will say yes before to finish the question.

I'm taking her out in her favorite restaurant in New York, Il Passatore. She loves Italian food, so I decided to take her here for her birthday. But let's start with the beginning...

It's 9 am and I just finished our breakfast. I put everything on the tray and I walk upstairs to my birthday girl. I slowly open the door and she's still sleeping. I let the tray on my nightstand and I get in bed. I go to her and I start to kiss his shoulder. I look at her and I can see a smile on her beautiful face.

"Good morning, beautiful. Happy birthday." I lean over her, kissing the edge of the mouth. "I wish you the best in your life and I hope I will be with you at every birthday." I kiss her again. "I love you."

"Thank you." She smiles and she kisses me again. "And I love you."

"Breakfast for my birthday girl? I made waffles with maple syrup and fresh orange juice."

"Hmm, sounds good." She turns to me and I kiss her. "We won't eat anything if you continue to kiss me." She giggles.

"Ok, ok." I back off and I take the tray from my nightstand, then I put it on her legs.

"It smells good."

"Eat."

"You don't eat with me?"

"Yes, I will eat."

"Let me fed you, then."

"Do you want to do this?"

"Yes, I do."

"Ok, then go on."

After a good breakfast, I take the tray in the kitchen and I go back to my girl.

"Will you be mad if I will go in town for a few hours? I have some work to do... I don't want to leave you alone for your birthday, but it's something I can't postpone it."

"It's fine, don't worry." She smiles and she kisses me.

"I promise to be quick and when I'm done, I will be all yours. We are going out tonight."

"Going out?"

"Yes. I'm taking you out for a date."

"Are you sure you want to do this?"

"Yes. I don't care if someone will see us."

"I love you." She has a big smile on her face.

"I love you more."

In three hours, I finished my business in town and I just arrived home. I don't see Jo anywhere downstairs, so I suppose she's in our bedroom. I take off my shoes and I go upstairs, but I don't find her in the bedroom.

"Josephine?"

"In the bathroom!" I hear her and I walk to the bathroom where I find her in the bathtub. "Hi." She gives me her sweet smile. Ugh, I love this girl.

"Hi." I walk to her, I lean over the bathtub and I kiss her. She takes me by my t-shirt. "You just wet my t-shirt, baby..."

"And you should take off your clothes and join me here."
