In the large hall of the most beautiful, elegant and magnificent palace in the entire dragon empire, all the royals were gathered to witness the union of the two people. The emperor had decided to marry the crown prince – Ae with prince Pete, and all were eager to see the other half.

Soon the hall was filled with hymns as the beautiful figure glided down the aisle holding his father's hand and shyly looking down at his feet. The crown prince held his head high as he looked at his soon to be other half walk into the hall. Some of the royal women, duchess, countess and all others gasped when they saw the beauty, envying the person for his beautiful looks. "Surely they have groomed him." One of the woman commented. "Yeah... How can someone have that appearance? It's all fake." Another spat.

The young prince now finally stood in front of the crown prince with his gaze still fixed on the ground feeling terribly shy. The priest didn't waste any more time in beginning the rituals and everyone sat in silence watching the progress of the ceremony. The emperor and empress stood at the right side smiling widely as they witnessed the wedding of their son.

After having said the vows, rings were exchanged; the young prince was all shy and not even looking at his husband. The priest finally declared them as couple and Ae planted a soft kiss on the other's hand before turning around and raising their hands in air flaunting their rings to audience in order to announce that they were finally married.

Cheers erupted in the crowd and Ae lowered their hands letting go off the other's hand as he walked down from the stage leaving his other half alone. The poor lad was all confused about what he had to do but his mother in law was quick for his rescue.

"Come my dear..." she said while gently ushering him down from the stage helping him escape the gaze of everyone gathered around. "Pete, don't be scared. I am there with you. Would you like to change your clothes?" the mother asked in a tender voice. "It's fine your majesty." Pete replied politely.

"Oh dear... Stop addressing me formally. For you, I am just your mae." She replied while trying to ease out the nervousness that had built inside Pete. The guests present for the wedding were all busy enjoying the feast.

The announcement of wedding was done months before and the emperor had his best men at work. Right from arranging for the food to decoration and stay of all the royals and their servants who were going to attend the wedding.

The emperor wanted the wedding to be grand and one of the most memorable ones in the history. The arrangements had began month prior as the farmers were ordered to grow the best fruits and vegetables while livestock was ordered from different kingdoms along with beverages.

The senior officer or the lord began to issue orders for the well functioning of the whole ceremony and the work was distributed in groups. While some were supposed to take care of the livestock, feeding them and keeping them healthy only to be slaughtered for wedding day while the others were asked to nurture the fishes that were kept in ponds to be used in for the feast.

One group was in charge of the beverages and had to travel different kingdom to taste the beverages and place the order. There was hardly anyone who could rest in the following days as the wedding date began to approach.

On the other hand, Prince Pete was having butterflies in his stomach when he was informed that he was going to be married soon. It was only once that he had seen Ae when the royals had come to pay a visit. They didn't get to talk but Pete was already in love with his soon to be husband.

Royals from different kingdoms came to attend the wedding, bringing in different varieties of gifts that included rare perfumes, furs, expensive jewellery and clothes and many more things that they could afford. One could say that this was the most expensive and also most sizzling topic to talk about.
