Pete looked around the place to see the two maids, surgeon and the empress looking at him with worried faces. But the moment, he opened his eyes, all of them were relieved. The surgeon stepped closer and began to examine him. Pete looked a little better than yesterday which gave him hope that the medicines are working.

"The temperature has gone down. Seems like the medicine are doing it's work." The surgeon stated. "I am relieved to hear that. Sir Amonrat, please make sure that Pete recovers well." The empress spoke. "Well, if the recovery continues the same way, he might start to walk around soon." The surgeon replied. Hom and Phailin smiled immediately when they heard those words. It was an assurance that Pete was going to be fine soon.

The surgeon then began his usual work of cleaning the wounds and dressing them up. He glanced at Pete and then at the place beside him. He could see the rumpled sheets which meant there was someone too inside the chamber. His eyes then felt on something that was shining underneath the pillows and he smiled. "Did you have a nice sleep?" he inquired. Pete just nodded while lying silently on the bed.

He continued with his work carefully applying the medicine and covering the wounds. When he was done, he moved closer, trying to help Pete to turn a bit while swiftly grabbing the evidence lying on the bed. He slid it inside his pocket before moving to collect his stuff.

"Your majesty, prince is recovering well so I would suggest you to take some rest and stop worrying now. I will come later to check on him." The surgeon informed. "Sir Amonrat, we are grateful to you for having shared your precious time in healing Pete. We can't thank you enough for your service." The empress said.

"It's my duty your majesty. I need to leave now because I have something important to take care of." The surgeon said while preparing to walk out of the chamber.

He had reached the main hallway where he could hear a whistle. Ae was walking in the hallway whistling when he saw the surgeon approach him. He smiled while greeting the old man. "Sir Amonrat." Ae greeted. "The crown prince... Not wise enough though... Be careful next time when you go somewhere. You have lot many belongings that you leave behind." The surgeon said while handing the evidence he found inside Pete's chamber to Ae.

"Where did you find this?" Ae asked all surprised. "Where you have slept last night. It's not always that you would be lucky crown prince. Be careful." The surgeon warned before walking away. Ae looked down at the brooch that the surgeon had handed. He had left it back at Pete's chamber when he had sneaked in the last night. He smiled when he realized that the surgeon was helping him.

Ae returned back to his chmaber after he asked someone to summon Zee. "Your highness...." Zee greeted while stepping into Ae's chamber. "Sir Zee..." Ae said while rushing towards his desk. He picked up the scroll and handed it to Zee. Zee took the scroll and looked at Ae waiting to hear for what the other had to say but then Ae saw shadow outside the door as if someone was eavesdropping.

"Sir Zee, when is Prince Pete leaving?" Ae asked while gesturing Zee towards the door and pointing at the shadow of someone. Zee nodded and played along. "Very soon your highness. As soon as Prince Pete recovers, he will be sent back." Zee replied.

Ae reached the door and pulled it open swiftly only to see someone standing outside. "Lord Runrot??" Ae called which made the other person get stunned. "Y-your highness.... I was here to inform you that the tea is ready." Lord Runrot informed.

"Oh... Okay... I'll be there." Ae assured. "I-I'll take your leave." Lord Runrot stuttered before walking away. Ae turned his gaze towards Zee. Zee just nodded while pointing at the scroll before hiding it inside his tunic and walking out. "Keep it secret." Ae whispered before Zee walked past him exiting the room.
