Okay so this story takes place in the 2024 season where mainly Mclaren and Ferrari are challenging for the Drivers Championship and the Constructors Championship, however Mercedes and Red Bull are still up there. It starts in the middle of the season as well just after the summer break. The grid will be based mostly on the 2023 line-up, but drivers like Daniel and Seb will still be on the grid for the purposes of this story (not really it's mainly because I love them so much and it would feel wrong to not have them on the grid). Oscar Piastri is at Mclaren because that is crucial to the story. Plus I'm keeping Mick at Haas as Hulk hadn't been announced when I started writing the story and we can't not have Mick here.

Also the day of the week is included in the chapter title so you can follow along with the rough timeline the book uses (although it was mainly for me to keep track of which things were scheduled in the chapter). The next part is a run down of the championship standings and then a break down of the race finishes before the first chapter in the book. Updates will be once a week every Sunday.
