Marcy stumbled through the woods of Amphibia, (literally) writing in her journal.

"Where could Y/n be?" She asked herself. "I miss my girlfriend."

"Maybe I'm right behind you~"

Marcy turned, red tinting her face and tears pricking the corner of her eyes.
"Y/n? Is that you?"

You tackled her in a hug. "In the flesh."

You both smiled like idiots. For the first time in a while, you felt whole again.

Before you could react, Marcy pulled you close and pressed her lips against yours.

Your (f/c) ears stood up out of shock, but you managed to kiss back.

Marcy pulled away. She laid on your chest, hearing your firm heartbeat.

You kissed her head, and began to stroke her hair.
"I love you. You know that?" You said to her quietly.
"Mhm." She said sleepily. "I love you too."
